I currently use the Wilson nblade 106. I was looking for just a touch more power and would probably prefer a 100" head. It looks like the Pro Kennex 7g might be what I'm looking for or maybe even the ki5. I don't have to have the extra length. One of my concerns is the stiffness. In the past I have not been able to go over 63 or 64 (RDC) in stiffness and I was wondering if the kinetic technology makes the 7g play softer than its stiffness rating. I have found the nblade to be arm friendly (RDC 60), but I am concerned about the stiffness rating of the 7g. I have briefly hit with the ki5x and it was borderline too heavy for me, but I think I can adjust. How easy is the 7g to swing compared to the ki5x?
Would the 7g have a little more power than the nblade 106? Does the ki5 have more power than the nblade 106? I have added a little weight to the handle of the nblade but not to the hoop. I don't think I'm looking for a tweener racket as all tweeners have seemed to stiff and eventually either hurt my arm or shoulder. The Volkl BB10 is an example. I liked the way it played, but it eventually hurt my arm. Would you consider the 7g a tweener or a player's racket? I guess I'm looking for something between a players racket and a tweener. Please advise and thanks.
