I was just wondering if anyone knows what that black thing kirilenko wears on her knee.
I now have a tendenct to hyperextend my right knee, so I was wondering if it would help.

It provides compression for the patella tendon. Basically what Nadal does. She must be having knee/quad problems.

??? not sure, I'm watching her now, and she's got a real thin neon yellow strap just below the patella...looks more like a tape than a brace.

If you cant build the muscles around your knee (lateral quads and adductors) a full knee brace should help. Hyperextension can be caused by weak leg muscles.

It's really interesting how she rolls up the tape like that.
Dose anyone know of a tape that has the ability to roll like that?
I would like to try it with my knee.

It's called pre-tape. You put in on before you apply athletic tape for easy removal.

But as seen in both the video above and last night's match versus Sharapova, she only rolls up that tape and doesn't put anything over it...

I don't think it's really matter which tape is unless it's electronic black or duck tapes ^__^

I think any medical purpose tape should work.
in the video, the tape did not look thick and did not have strong adhesive material.

maybe it's just psychological factor.....
Nadal wore knee tape or bands but look what happen to him last year.
if those tape or bands really work, everyone will wear some kind of tape or band to protect their knees and never get knee problem.
