Nice racquet. I recall this frame being one of about 3 flagship issues from Puma for their final year of newish merchandise in the States, maybe 1988. Another model was called the Top Flex. There might've been a Top Spin too, or maybe I'm just imagining that. Puma was still making the Becker Super viably but had gravitated away from putting Boris's name on every frame, perhaps because the end was near re: their relationship with him. Becker started to wear Fila togs in the first half of 1988. Never found a walk-in shop that sold these models.

Nice!! Can you weigh it for us? Any impressions on how it plays?

BTW...whats the grip size? Any plans to sell or trade?

Funny, I bought a cheap digital weigh scale a few days ago for this specific purpose (and to weigh the rest of my stash) but the display was faulty. I hope to give you a weight as soon as I get a working scale. I haven't hit with it yet but it definitely swings quite maneuverably. It's a 4 1/2 grip. And speaking as an enthusiast with more rackets than money, yes, I would be willing to sell - every man has his price :)

Sorry for reviving this old thread. Managed to see one in pretty good condition and thinking to add to my collection. Any one had any experience with it?

I have a Puma Top Star from the same line I believe. 360g Strung Weight. 6 Points Head Light. 16x19 String Pattern. 95in2 Head Size (at a guess).
Mine is painted the same colours as the Puma Super and I suspect the paint schemes from the Puma Super, Winner, etc might be consistent with the flex of the models in the Top line also.
Therefore I would hazard a guess that the Top Speed is the size up version of the Puma Winner. In other words I would expect it to be a flexier version of my Top Star.
Disclaimer: I am not an expert.
