Going to be a great match-up. Was able to watch the tennis at UCLA this weekend and the bruins look good!

who's favored next week? Can either of them stand a chance against UVA?

UCLA has the most talent of any team in college and UCLA tends to play better in the tournament.

Also, UVA isn't a given to even beat Duke in the round of 16 at Athens were the courts are super slow

UCLA has been a consistant loser to Stanford over the years especially in critical playoff or NCAA tournament situations. and Stanford loves slower hard courts. so this pretty much puts Stanford in the finals..

Stanford did take them down this season, but its going to be a dog-fight nonetheless. Previous post is right in that UCLA does have incredible talent. With the additions of their new recruits next year, they're arguably more power-packed than stanford.

I talked with a few coaches at the Big 10 championships and they said UCLA may be the most talented team in America. They just tend to not perform at their talent level. Should be a good match up.

Alex will be playing #3. that is the plan. but Thacher looked injured today. so we will have to see how he feels.

Stop giving them our line-ups dude.

Im pulling for the bruins... its going to be an absolute battle as both teams truly dislike eachother, but its looking like the talent will be too much to deny.. i spoke with brooklyn and he said theyve really been working on patching up the weak spots, particularly in their doubles.. should be a barn burner boys!

UCLA adds two freshman blue chip recruits to the roster, but graduates Haythem Abid, Matt Brooklyn, and Kallim Stewart. A reasonable prediction would be that UCLA will be almost as good next year as they are this year.

I see Stanford winning 1. 5 and 6 and UCLA probably at 2 and 4.

Could come down to #3 with Brooklyn vs Clayton.

very very exciting... always tough to come back after loosing the doubles point, but with 2 top teams like this, anythings very possible

There was a suggestion on a thread that Clayton had been moved down so its possible, I dont follow the pac10 much though.

UCLA takes 1st set of singles @ 3,4,5; Stanford @1, #6 is 5-5 in 1st, #2 @ 6-5 UCLA in 1st. Are you nervous Fed? Is Destiny on her way?!?

Looks like 4 and 5 are locked in more or less.... going to be an uphill battle for stanford from here out. don't think they'll go down without a fight though!!

I have been watching # 5, what happened to Wire, he seems to have gone backwards a bit. As a freshman his potential seemed bigger than where he has ended up.
