Will Heat reduce string tension

I keep my rackets in a bag in my car.
Tension has dropped from 56 to 50 on RDC machine.

Can the heat cause this even though the racket is in a bag

Yes. Hot objects expand. Cold objects contract.

This is why artwork is kept at a constant temperature by museums.

Yes, it drops on its own, but more if you hit balls with it, and even faster if you leave it in scorching heat.

heat and tension drop is the cause, if you have to leave it in the car I would get a bag with thermo guard.

Yup - leaving your sticks inthe car in the blistering heat is NEVER a good idea. keep your sticks cool...like the mona lisa in the museum
