Original TournaGrip, black finishing tape (taped at nearly all the way past the cortex 'V' paintjob)
Babolat Syntec Black replacement grip
4 inches of 1/4 Gamma Lead Tape at each side of 3 and 9 o' clock
Elastic/Rubber/Office/Whatever-you-want-to-call-it band dampener

I think this is very accurate.
Also, could someone explain 'pre-stretch' to me??

Yeah the tension was from around late February - early March.
So does Roddick pre-stretch?

I've seen Roddick stretch before matches many times. Especially his ankles, he has ankle issues thats why he wears the Stormtrooper cankle shields.

Saying "extended to 27.5 inches" suggests that it wasn't that way to start with. It's simply a Pure Drive +, which IS 27.5 inches.

Pre-stretch relates to applying a pull to the strings prior to their actual tensioning to stretch the material (usually in an effort to get better tension maintenance). Depending on the specific properties of the string, this may or may not be advisable/helpful.

p.s. My apologies to all other readers of this thread for my serious and literal tone.

I don't think the switches are court specific. He's just been experimenting with a few different string combos over the last few years.
