What about it?
Can you take pic of it for analysis.
I thought it was a 2 piece string job, but what have you noticed about it?
Thanks again.

It was a monster from the baseline and very good in my returns i felt. Volleys were deep and had good placement and mass.Serves felt flowing and had pace and spin and felt like the racket whipped thru well at imapct to generate results that were felt by my hitting partner compared to my regular TGK 238.1.
Great racket.

Hello, I'm Anastasios, a wine distributor from Greece and I'll be playing with Marat Safins' racquet this weekend - a MicroGel Prestige Mid.

Does anyone have any info on this frame?

Hey A, one could claims some rackets are like wine. Like the PC600 in PT10 paint.
Potent, jovial yet discreet and controlled.:)
Is it a PT you are hitting with?

What's the RDC rating for the racket if you measured it and what is his grip size??
Thanks

I dont have the proper equipment to carry out the stiffness tests sorry. The grip feels a bit on the rounder side compared to my Head rackets and it is a grip 4 1/2.

Hi, can you tell us the weight and the balance point?

Thank's :)

Sure , it weighs 367 grams. How do i determine the balance point? I.e i understand that i find the point at which it is even balance but how do i do the calculation to get a points headlight/headheavy outcome?

Measure the distance from the balance point to the end of the buttcap, in Centimeters (cm).

Thanks :)

No sorry to dissapoint....

It was a sarcastic remark in reference to the OP, who I believe, wanted to say that he was going for a hit with a retail RdiS 100mid and mistakenly wrote 'Hewitt's racquet'... maybe ignorant to the world of PJ's....

Ok,alrightie.. i find it to be 30.5 cm from the butt cap to the point that is the even balance area of the frame unstrung. Want to add it weighs 354 grams unstrung.

My previous weight measuremant was of the racket strung with 16 gauge string which i took out . Just wanted to clarify that.:)

Just want to add that Hewitt's racquet is 26.75" in length, not the standard 27".

No. He had a paintjob of RDX 500 mid, but that time he actually played with Super RD Tour 90's.

(No pro ever played with RDX 500 mid, but IMHO it's a great racquet.)

Correct. For most of his career, Lleyton's played with a Super RD Tour 90, very close to stock specs, under the paint of every 'flagship' retail mid that Yonex had produced since then (MP Tour-1 90, RDX-500 Mid, RDS 001 Mid, RDiS 100 Mid for a brief period), and at some point (~end of last year), Lleyton really did switch to the RDiS 100 Mid (93) mold, still customized to his original SRDT 90 specs. I'll see if I can find some pics to highlight the differences for you guys, but they're really not too subtle.

Don’t know for sure but I bet most if not all the pro’s do this…
