Multi mains/poly cross or poly mains/multi crosses?

As the title says, which would be more beneficial? I'm thinking of using a hybrid of Tecnifibre X-1 biphase and Luxilon alu power rough on my Prince exo3 Tour 16x18. Which set up do you think would break faster, generate more power/spin, control, etc? Thanks in advance

If you put X-1 in the mains - they will break faster. Mains move around more than crosses and Luxilon crosses will just cut them. Its more common to use Lux in mains, you should get more spin and control, while X-1 in mains will give you more feel

To answer your question X1 in the mains would break faster but last longer if you take into consideration the ALU will go dead after about 10 hours of play. 80% of the playability of a string comes from the mains. I have one of my sticks strung up with NGR and Lux Savage in the crosses and plan to hit with it this week. My normal is Savage in the mains and Sensation in the crosses.
