Will Nadal and Fed be drawn in every semi...

...so far their ranking allows it.

The "random" draw could allow for nadal and fed to meet in the semi and then Djokovic and nadal in the final. Murray against Djokovic is more interesting too.
We have witnessed such coincidences before with fed and djok being 4567664567 in the same half. Do you believe same total randomness will happen to fedal as well?

Seems like they have found a good revenue model. Will they stick to it?

As we know, it's either seeds 1/3 in the top half and 2/4 in the bottom half, or it's seeds 1/4 in the top half and 2/3 in the bottom half. Players names are irrelevant to this.

I'm thinking that RG would not be too happy about Fed/Nad in the same half, they may want a shot at another Fed/Nad final

I would love to see a Fed/Nad final with Fed keeping up his first 7 game level from RG 2011. That would have made that match an epic. (Fed with sets one and 3, nadal with 2 and 4, who knows what happens in 5) ;)

I hope not. Federer-Nadal outcomes in slams is getting pretty predictable. Federer can't really push Nadal to five sets anymore (maybe at the USO, but I don't think he can do it anywhere else).

With Murray (who is rapidly improving) on Nadal's half, the SFs become much more exciting. Murray is heavily capable of beating Nadal, and Federer-Djokovic matches are usually very even and are a joy to watch, no matter the winner. Even though Djokovic-Murray matches are pretty good, Nadal is basically a lock for a final if Federer is in his half (as a Federer fan, it really hurts me to say that).

Fed-Murray FO final it is then :)

Fed in 2 is the only answer to this tennis related question :)

We will wait for Miami. If they get drawn in 1 half again it will get fishy. There is a 12,5 % probability of nr 2 and nr 3 to be drawn in one half in 3 tourneys in a row...

Only surface I'd rate Murray's chances beating him in a slam.

You have to be joking. Murray has a journeyman's winning percentage on clay. Federer has been the second best clay courter in the world since 2006, and only fell to third in 2011. Murray has the least chance of defeating Federer at the FO. Wimbledon is much more likely given recent results there and considering Murray's winning percentage on grass.

Actually..im liking murray's chances better at the USO.

Yes, I think so. I already implied this in a couple of other threads. Except for a couple of masters perhaps, expect Fed-Nadal on the same half in all slams and 9/10 times in general.
It will be interesting to see this new "pattern" now that Murray appears to be more of a threat than Djokovic , whose form and fitness has definitely gone down compared to last year. It is a lose-lose situation for Fed and a win-win for Nadal. i.e Fed would be better off if he were drawing a weakened Djoker now compared to Nadal and Nadal would be worse off drawing an improved Murray now compared to his bunny.

Why? Because he lost in Dubai? He looks to be playing just fine to me. He won his match today with no trouble at all. Besides,Murray can be flakey so there is no guarantee he will even make it to the semi to face Djesus. Fed,otoh,is playing great and is a lock to make it to the semi, and is my pick to make it out of his half of the draw and into the final.

Im really starting to wonder.

Someone else on here said he is most likely a Fed fan posing as a Nadal fan to stir the ****s into an even bigger frenzy against Nadal. As crazy as that sounds I am starting to wonder if it isn't true considering some of the stuff he posts. Lol.

I agree. I mean, I like seeing Nadal fans being optimistic about him. But, come on. Saying Nadal will absolutely win their next match without a doubt is really pushing it, especially since Nadal their last match.

I would like to bump what I said earlier about Murray. Seems as if I was right about this one.

Djesus will win this title without dropping a set.

Federer could beat him, if he makes it past Nadal and the rest of his nightmare draw, that is.

By the way, did you watch Nadal's doubles match? How's he looking after a month off?

It wasn't streamed anywhere so I have no idea how well he played. I am assuming he was rusty. He will probably mug it up tomorrow in his match just like Andy did in his. Lol.

Yeah, I imagine. I've never heard of Leonardo Mayer before, so it should be an interesting match tomorrow.

I've heard of him,but I have never seen him play. Nadal ALWAYS struggles when he hasn't played for a while, and he ALWAYS struggles with guys he has never played before. He's going to be up against it tomorrow for sure.

Rafa, in his current state, totally rusty and unable to get into his clothes without tearing the seams can only beat Federer. No one else. He's in *that* bad shape.

I bet anyone here their online existence that Nadal will beat Leonardo Mayer at this here 2012 Indian Wells. If Nadal wins then anyone who backs Mayer in this bet will never post at talk tennis again. If Mayor wins then I will never post at talk tennis again. Who wants to say Nadal will lose to Mayer?

Are you for real,dude?

75% 1st serves in.
96% 1st serves won.
67% 2nd serves won.
19 winners.
4 unforced errors.
6-1 6-3.
75 minutes.

I see you have logged on using yet another one of your many aliases . And I don't give a crap about those stats. Nadal still has no ros or a bh. His serve is also still iffy, and if Mayer had returned half way decently that would have been exposed, too.

He ain't beating Djesus playing the way he did today. Shoot,he probably ain't beating any top player playing like that.

Oh,and like Flashflare said,I am a woman,not a "dude".:)

Nadal owned you, today as usual. What are you now, 5 of 50 in predictions regarding Nadal matches? Nadal REALLY struggled today, oh how he struggled!

My predictions may not always be right but I have yet to be wrong about him losing over and over again to Djesus. 0-7 in the past year,Nadalwon. That alone is more than 5.

Clarky wants to be a woman. That's why Clarky keeps saying this, pleading to be known as a woman. Who else here mentions whether they are male/female on a regular basis?

She didn't mention it at first. I brought it up. There are quite a few posters here who state their gender quite often because it's not so obvious in the way they post. Vernonbc and MariaRafael are obviously female posters, and it's evident in the way they write. Clarky21, Juan Ma del Pony, SLD76, etc. don't make it so obvious.

If you got my gender wrong, I'd correct you right away.

I have no idea what your gender is, nor what gender Clarky is. Kind of strange that you'd vouch for somebody you don't even know :D

LOL evident in the way that they write. That's a laugh, since so many males write like girls. You really need to get out more. There are even guys who speak like girls

Bad luck on this one.

I think you're better when you predict match results that have nothing to do with Nadal or the Djesus
