I am going to set up a camera and study Gators backhand..I need that backhand!! lol. I know Mikeler kept going to it like a smart player should, and it just doesnt seem to matter..every shot comes back deep and consistent. That is a seriously nice weapon to have.

You have a very small window on the forehand side to go on offense against El Gatorito. Luckily I was serving good last night because I could not find that area on his forehand side near the line last night.

I went to T Plaza and saw the 2$ Gamma wristbands..got real excited until I realized they are single width after opening them..lol. Oh well. $2 for wristbands is still a bargain..I can double up each side.

No clay courts in the morning at OTC. I was 15 minutes late. Going to the hard courts though. I like the speed. Lets see him try to take the pace away now. LOL

I gave the last set of Thunder Blast away today. It's a guy who uses Sensation so at least he can do a full multi comparison.

^ ok...better for a regular user of multi. btw - bottled brews almost gone (IPAs anyway). bottling next IPA batch last week in Sept.

The rain saved you twice now. Wicked's FH starts fizzling out in the heat over time!

Normally when I play a match where both guys only have 1 break towards the end of the 2nd set, it is a high quality match. Not so on the muddy grounds of OTC. I'll be happy to see the rainy season go.

...Da muddy nights at OTC! Fun dubs with Wicked Stu and the lil lobber today..not sure about the Penn Marathon's mikeler, light and airy without mcu feel...and you know its all about da feel...sticking to the US Open's and Grand Prix's...

Seriously, that's ur play. The rain. I don't fizzle anymore. Made some changes. That's why I win 3rd set tb with wb. As opposed to seeing 4-1 40 love.....oh Nevermind. No sense making nostradamus recall past memories since he can't predict future ones. :)

You were my Genesis Thunder Blast singles guinea pig. I'd never disrespect ssgator or Jeff like that. I only do that with the "C" players in my rotation. :twisted:

If I could just finish a match with Wicked, then I could talk the talk. Those 5 minute changeover breaks, excessive ball bouncing and grip changes make it nearly impossible.

You been running past the curfew? Maybe we should start early today.

So WF has not taken my advise and have all his racquets with new grips before the match.

Just trying to have a little fun with my bold predictions and exaggerations. There was not 1 grip change with Wicked and he was not taking long breaks either. The real reason we could not finish our 2 sets is because they were both close and we had to sit out about 20 minutes or so due to the rain. There were 2 leagues taking up all the courts at 7.

Mikeler got a taste of Gators neighborhood hard courts last night. At least we got to play. Next time I will have to install lights.

It was nice to see how the upper crust society lives in Windermere. That was my first time playing on grass in a large stadium, so it was interesting. :wink:

I'm filing a formal protest with the COBE committee about the poor lighting. I cannot spell out the COBE acronym on these boards but it stands for Committee Of BS Excuses. That can be the only reason I blew 2 match points. I did quite enjoy the strategy of bringing you to net every point at the end and forcing you to look up in the dark for overheads. :twisted:

I'm glad we got to play though and those are pretty nice courts. The blue hard court surface is definitely superior to the older green style.

Hey, I just flew in from Maine and boy are my arms tired. That is my opening line, what do you think?

In actuality, I'm going up to Maine tomorrow to get out of this pea soup. It was so muggy last night, I looked like I had been in a pool after we finished playing.

As for Jon Stewart, I think he has suffered the age curse that so many other comedians run into. Think Chevy Chase. They get older and more serious then ultimately turn into curmudgeons like Bad_Call. Just kidding buddy. :)
