Like those Cilic shoes up top. Nice.

Aside from the graphics, interesting to see Djokovic's B7s are stock retail versions, unlike Murray's B7s which have the B5 outsole pattern. Given how long Murray had stuck to the B5s I doubt he'll be changing to this summer's B8s if they change significantly given the success he's had in the 7s.

Some great pics in this thread, interesting to see how much stress Djokovic puts on his shoes' uppers, sponsorship queries aside it's no wonder he sticks with Barricades.

djokovic's midsole is white rather than the retail silver barricades.

Indeed, but as with the graphics though this is just stylistic. Midsole color is a miadidas option available to the public. Unlike Murray's, the entire structure seems 100 percent stock retail as previously stated.

I am hoping that people don't spend their money on "player specific socks" that are just regular socks marked up 3X normal retail. Please tell me I am correct.

it's player exclusive socks. cotton blend.
I believe the product number is PSX 175-130.
usually sells at special events such as US open nike booth.

These cam be copped for human prices too. Right now they are $15, but it's hard to find them.

Trust me won't be paying for these socks. Pure curiosity. Haven't seen them for sale anywhere hence the question. My $10 pack of nike socks works just fine.:)

Those retail versions aren't the same, the pro-ex socks have a higher cotton content and are not labeled dri-fit or L/R. Plus they have better top of foot venting.

It seems the lighter grey heel patch versions are replacing the darker ones. No matter since the lighter and darker feel the same and they remain my favorite socks for tennis, especially costing me just $65 for 20 pairs.

they are actually really cheap- At the US Open the PE socks vary from $8 for the fed socks to $12 for the ones that rafa wears

8 bucks for a single pair of socks? or two or three pairs? If its just one, thats ridiculous, I just use socks with arch supports and a tight fit top avoid that real annoying fold that loose socks get under your foot.

I mean sure they're pricey, but I bought several pairs when I was there last year and I'd say they're worth it. Not that they're the only socks I wear now, but they're definitely the ones I wear to tournaments and what not. The cushion comfort and ventilation on these are incredible.

I agree. I purchased a few pairs of the PE socks at the Nike booth at last year's US Open.

I still have a couple pairs unused/still packaged.

Though IMHO they are on par with the Nike Elites (equal cushioning). The main difference, I believe is the cotton blend ratio.

Do you know if they also sell them in idian wells?
I don't think Nike will sell these socks at Indian wells but who knows what nike will do haha.
US open booth might be the best chance.

wll kind of but i also heard they were really comfortable so i would like to get some to try how they feel.

Really comfortable????? Mmmm....
Maybe it's more like personal preferences.
Elite has high polyester material and this PE socks has more cotton material.

well then which is better, but the thing that i dont like about the elites that they have the little sguares on the back of the sock

Looks like RF is using ZV9T Orange custom instead of the retail version! Based on iD designs! Hopefully Nike adds more color options like this for the midsole area!

As far as I know, those are not IDable:

- No other color option for the midsole other than black or white.

Nadal shoes have the sole all black...like the clay retail version

That's because he always uses the CB 1.3/2.3 outsole pattern and compound on hc. The Drag-On dimples on Nadal's shoes are black too, unlike the Volt ones on the retail versions. The extended tongue and closed inner air bubble are of course an ever-present on his custom shoes.

The only thing you can't replicate on NikeiD.com is the Orange midsole, and obviously the RF symbols. Hence my comment highlighted in BOLD on my original post. So if in the future Nike decides to add more color options for the midsole, I'd say those are veeery "IDable".

Also, there is no shade-able option for the vent.
On those pair, it's blue/white.
No such option available :(

I can't say that it's blue fading to white, it would be the logical idea since his polo is Deep Blue Royal. But n the picture above, it looks to me like it's Black to White, the option available to everybody on NikeiD.com unless it's Obsidian Blue which without proper lights, you can't differentiate it from black.

It's not just the midsole, but I find the customization for the Vapor 9 Tours are VERY limited. Look at the Upper, it just looks like someone spilled a bucket of paint onto the shoe.

Nearly every single colorway released for the Vapor 9 Tours come with two-toned Upper, since Winter 2012, Nike has added a 3rd and 4th tone to the heel and tongue portion of the shoe.

Yes, options are very limited. Just 1 upper color (including the "fingers"), vents, frame, midsole and sole. Hopefully in the future they add more color options and options for two or 3-toned upper.

But that shoe Roger is wearing could be easily replicated, at least colorway wise, with ID if you could put some color other than black or white in the midsole. His have the leather toe box vs the mesh that retail and ID have and the outrigger on the sole that used to be used on Vapor 6 and Vapor 7 and 8 which Nike left out on the V9.

that sole that he has was the same since the vapor speeds. guess he's so used to it that he has it on every hard court shoe.

I'd be curious to see a comparison between the OEM Air Oscillates and Pete's custom model. Anyone have this?
