Because there is no chance you would pay what they would ask for a similar process
From the 6-7 people on this forum that actually made and ID from the 2k11's it's hardly a money making machine for the tennis side of swoosh. The 2k11 is also on the "cheaper"end of of the tennis line(vapor/CB's). As is, most of the dudes on here are a bunch of cheapskates and would rather blow through the 6 month warranty to get a fresh pair. $150 for 2k11 ID, what more on a price hike on a Vapor or CB's.
How come Rafa has only 1 trophy icon this year?
I cant see on that photo but i assume its '08 on one she and '11 on the other. Either that or there is the other trophy is on the inside of the shoe
That would be still weird. Here's last year's version
Rosol tore one off? (impossible to resist)
Man, you're good!
Nadal didn't win '11, Djokovic won '11.
I forgot to post these! Roger's shoes from Olympics 2012, unfortunately from the match he and wawrinka lost in dubs... also got berdych's but cant find them at the moment... they're not the greatest pictures but thought I'd share anyway!
Thanks for the pics!
Those shoes look pretty boring for Federer set-ups... :/
Can anyone explain what the logo on the tongue means? Is it the RF logo ?
US Open 2012
Still don't understand why Nike didn't just release these instead of the silly NYC ones....
the gold looks really good w/ the obsidian!
I think those may have been the GSOAT. I would have bought 1000 pairs of these had they been made available.
Because Roger occasionally likes having things that don't get sold to the public?
^^^^ oooh lah lahhhhhhhh I like!
why can't we buy real pro shoes again?
because our tennis powers are not strong enough to tame the poly basalt force that lives within each pro shoe.
Because they'd cost a fortune, and fall to pieces really quickly, so everybody would complain and the world would spontaneously combust*
*at least 2 of these things are correct, you choose which
Murray, US Open:
And while I'm at it, Del Potro...
What were these called? By far one of my favorite Federer shoes!!
Thanks for the pics. Seems that like Nadal does with keeping the CB2.3 sole pattern, Murray has maintained the tread pattern from the B5s.
Any more pics of the Murray and Djokovic Adidas'?
Azarenka's US Open shoes. One of the coolest shoes for ladies that I've seen in recent years.
Want those Davis cup shoes!!!
^^^ The Fed Wimbledon shoes went for the bargain price of US $21,596.
It wasn't me Rhino, not by any stretch of the imagination. The winning bid is plain mad...
Former Wimbledon champion Jack Kramer says Roger is the best he has seen (and he is 85 years old!).
John McEnroe sayas he wish he could have played like Federer.
Borg says Federer is better than he was.
Jack Kramer died in 2009--and what exactly does this have to do with shoes?
Yep!... And what a weird first post !!!
oh my god i saw that auction for the shoes earlier my jaw hit the floor. i don't think i've even been that overwhelmed by an auction before.
They are the finals match worn correct?
The back to the future air mags weren't at all special other than the fact that they went 100% completely to charity. But, they went for over 20K on ____
They were part of his original equipment but i dont think they were worn though... looks quite new to me.
Is it just me or this shoe is basically the lunar vapor tour 7 (circa2010) in a different colourway..
pretty much a vapor 8 with some slight design changes
notice that the mesh is different than the retail vapors
