How to Add Plow to the New Graphene Speed MP?

I liked the new Graphene Speed Pro, but I think it's just a bit heavy for me. I was disappointed in the MP version (low weight, no plow), but I'm wondering if anyone has modified one say, for instance, leading it up to 11.4 oz (from it's stock weight of 11 oz), to add more plow-through.

I appreciate your feedback!

after overgrip and dampener, you could have 18 grams to play with to get it to 335. If you want plow and a light stick, then you want the SW over 330, so I'd put 6 grams at 3 and 9 and 12 grams in the handle to balance it more headlight. That will have you at a 335ish SW and a 335 static weight.

I agree that 330-335 sw is the cutoff point when you start to get good plowthru from your racquet, although this may vary depending on the racquet. Plowthru usually comes though with more weight behind the ball (on the hoop) so I would start modding the MP with 4" of lead tape at the 3/9 positions or also try 2-4" at 12'. You will have to experiment some to see what you prefer, but you should have no problem leading up the Mp to get it to where you get sufficient plow without being too heavy to swing.

Follow this advice! I weighted mine like this 2 weeks ago when I got it and had great results. I love the weight of the Pro but wanted a 16X19 string pattern so I went with the MP. Be careful as this stick can get really powerful very quickly!

Great responses - thanks everyone!

Power Player - for the lead in the handle, would you physically put it 'on' the handle, then put the overgrip on, or, put it 'in' the handle, by taking off the buttcap/ trap door and putting it inside of the handle? I don't mean this to be a dumb question, just specific direction from your experience.

I think the Steam 105 S is an example of a lighter racquet with plowthrough, from a higher swingweight. Wow, did it have power; I'm not sure I would use it in a match, but it was fun to hit with (a friend let me hit with his 105 S).

On or in the handle makes little difference, but I prefer to add INSIDE the handle if possible. Bluetak works great inside the handle. What WILL make a difference though is if you concentrate the weight near the butt cap or spread it along the handle. Depends if you like it very polarised or not.
