Prince EXO3 Rackets

Sadly, I have to say that I keep getting a lot of pain in my forearm, elbow, and wrist and I really believe that it is because of my racket/string combo. I used to just get over it, but now it doesn't go away. I need to change to something that is very arm friendly, and I have found that prince exo3 technology really is the best (in my opinion) for increasing arm friendliness.

As far as string goes, I want to stay with poly. I have grown to dislike the feel of synthetics and multis because they are too mushy and lack precision in an open pattern.

The tour and warrior lines are very intriguing to me. The rebel is too demanding and I don't like the 98 at all.

The tour 16X18 is a very soft frame, even w/full poly at 50#. It is a low-powered frame, but unlike even-balanced 11 oz. thin-beamed frames, has enough mass to prevent it from being pushed around. Swings fast, too.

Thanks jack. If anyone's wondering, I'm not going to buy any of the sale prince rackets because I actually don't like the cosmetics AT ALL.

Jack, how low powered is it? As low powered as a mg radical?

If a Pure Drive is a 9/10 and an MG Rad MP is a 3/10, it to me is a 5/10.

Thanks a lot guys. My local club happens to be a prince retailer that offers $2 demos. I'm gonna take one for a spin and see how it goes.

Then good that you gave up on stiffer Hornet...
Warrior is practically the same thing as the O3 White, so you can save some $ there. Tour, I didn't play with, but it sounds it's even softer...

I can give you some less conventional stringing ideas, but off-line to prevent stirring the pot :D If you wish, you can email me direct:

Yes this is the big reason that I have up on the hornet. I do not like how the white looks and my friend also has one, so I dint want the same racket as him. Shoot me an email through this board. Should be easier :)

Thanks, but I'm not a storm fan and I really just want to go back to prince. I like their quality of their products

Can't do the Rebel 95 huh? Ashame, it's such a GREAT stick...all models of it. Maybe give that on another spin too. Get a nice 18g string and string it low to open up that stringbed for ya!

MikeHH93, you might want to consider the Prince Rebel 105 too. Despite the head size, it is actually narrower than you would expect at 3 and 9 (it extends lower at 6 to get the bigger head size). 320+ SW so pretty solid, comfy. Good stick.

Yeah I'm just not a fan of closed patterns anymore! For whatever reason, I've decided in my mind that I love spin lol. Rebel 95 is much too demanding for me

Where to find this stick?..

Def test the EXO3 Tour 16x18 though! Hard to believe that it would be too much stick for you. Should be very spin friendly and plenty forgiving.

The radical mp is too unforgiving for me :/

Well...was it unforgiving headsize wise? Or unforgiving in the sense that you couldn't generate enough spin?

A 100 at 16x18 will be VERY different than a 98 at 18x20. The Tour SHOULD have a much larger sweetspot also, I would think.

It was unforgiving because it had a tiny sweet spot and I had to work really hard to play the type of tennis that I enjoy- spinny baseline bashing.

LMFAO. Where is that guy? Haven't seen him for a few days...

Have you used the tour 100 bro?

I HAVE hit with it. I reaallllly love the feel. I wished it was a little more maneuverable. But spin was GREAT and feel was GREAT. Only downside was maybe a bit sluggish...

Control isn't AMAZING (18x20 version is clearly better)...but you can afford to string it tight and it will never be jarring.....the flex is just outrageous.

Well I'm so used to tweeners that I'm sure ill be ok with the control and power level of this stick. I LOVE the circular heads of these and the warriors!

I've hit with both the 16x18 and 18x20. Neither were my cup of tea. But the flex was nice. I felt like the ball was really sinking into the strings, and the frame was bending plenty with it. There was plenty of feel, it just wasn't what I liked.
