4) funniest (posters getting owned, tennis jokes, absurdity, anything funny)

I am members on several lifestyle, automotive, video game, and firearms forums but the ttw takes the cake for most knowledge, volume, intensity, inflated egos (yes, even more than video game ones), and obscurity in terms of content found EASILY.

Federer photoshopped is my favorite thread, there's this one epic picture depicting Djokovic's bruised and battered body from grinding on hardcourts and Nadal injecting steroids into his broken knees while Uncle Toni watches in agony as Federer is relaxing with his 17 grandslams.

Around the same time as the infamous western grip thread, there were some good Frodo threads too. I miss some of the characters from that era. It was back before they closed rants and raves.

There have been many memorable threads but "posters who you want to see hit" comes to mind first, specifically this post in particular where we finally acquired video evidence of LeeD's mad tennis skills. It was a historical day and some posters compared it to witnessing the loch ness monster. Furthermore, sonnec spiced up the thread by claiming his volleys are better than Nadal's.

Jolly shenanigans were chaotic as well -- Sup/drak and Mid Atlantic team vs. Jolly and his Long Island puppets.

No, he wasn't banned...the thread was erased bcoz someone poasted inappropriate (cheesecake) graphic material, as I understand. It's been almost two years since it all happened so I don't remember the specifics. It's a shame bcoz there was a lot of good stuff on it that went "pfffft".

There was also a trainwreck of a Sania Mirza thread that devolved into a giant anti-Islam screed--has Mahboob posted here since then? Not one of the shining moments in TT history.
