in his facebook page, he posted a video of him practicing. i notice that he has a blacked out racket. seems like it's a yonex because of the headshape.

Reminds me of the old adizero feathers... with a little bit of styling from Ballistec 3.3's...

Back to the racquet... LOL New Vcore Xi's? Same 16x20 string pattern...

Back in the day many many people including me drank out of those cans.I'm old and if I come down with something I could always blame it on that practice..ha-ha

Looks like Yonex is in the process of updating the VCore line. Possible updates coming next year perhaps?

You honestly think that's sanitary? do you really not have any other plastic bottle to use?

I never said it was sanitary, but I doubt it's especially harmful if only done every now and then. Now I carry a couple of Nalgenes to the court. Is that a little more acceptable?

When I was a kid I use to drink out of the ball can all the time. A few little germs won't hurt ya, maybe do a little good and build up the immune system

+1. Not like tennis balls have chemicals dripping off of them. I've used a can before - no big deal after a rinsing.

You'd be surprised some of the stuff in bottled water. LA news outlet did a comparison - many public fountains had safer water.

Wonder if Yonex is going to try to put a little more power in their sticks? Could be just what Donald Young's been searching for... :)

Those Feather III's look pretty nice.

If the toe is any indication, looks like they returned to a herringbone pattern for the sole- I sure hope so since the thought of shelling out a wad of cash to get the clay soles shipped from Europe is less than appealing. Bummer Adidas doesn't sell those stateside :( [Edit: on closer inspection looks like they've still got hybrid soles]

Anyone know the release date for the new Feathers?

And yeah, real men aren't afraid to drink from a tennis ball can. Helps to rinse it first though.

VCore Racquets are on sale now on TW. I guess its really being updated

Does anyone have info on what the update is/ when the new frames will be released?

We've heard about new Wilson stuff, new Head stuff (although I haven't seen any pics of the forthcoming Prestige line), and new Babolat gear (Pure Strike).

Pictures, or it didn't happen.

I'm not going to take out my phone and take pics with John Tomic standing right on next to my chair. It was at the national tennis centre in Melbourne where all the top Australian players train if you really need to know! Its rude to take pictures when someone is minding their own business and also you don't have any consent!

Wow, lighten up - the King of England doesn't run your island anymore. You must not go to tournaments; if I had a $0.01USD for every picture taken at the practice courts, I'd be a billionaire. It's only rude if you disrupt his practice.

Cool story, bro.

Wait, John Tomic was there? Hmmm...

You can take pictures as long as you aren't the paparazzi or an annoying fan.

You know how they are! After every rally he'd look over at my court and if a ball happened to fly towards his direction he would stare it wasn't wise to take a photo while he was training as this would have made John angrier than what he already was!

Yeah, I wouldn't even bother taking pictures. You saw the news of him head butting Thomas Drouet.

By the way, is Drouet still practicing with Bernard?

Drouet was practicing with Bartoli after the Tomic incident! Tomic is now training with anyone he can get. He's been hitting with the same guy for the last week when I've been training the guy is nothing special but can hit a decent ball!
