Well that's basically proven to be true, right? Since Agassi confessed in his biography? ATP never had an explanation or apology for this as far as I know. Makes you think who of the players this has happened to who didn't open up about it in a book.

No it hasn't. Agassi claimed in his book he was caught failing a drug test one time, not four times. Of course Andre could be lying since he has a history of doing that. In any case, this "news" is from some random Blog and the link has been removed anyway. No legit news source is repeating this.

If it's recreational, not PED, a player shouldn't even be suspended. In that case, he needs help, not punishment.

Major League Baseball is moving in that direction: a player busted for rec drugs will not be suspended, but must follow a rehab protocol. Y. Kuznetsov of the Capitols was suspended by the NHL all of 3 games (out of 82) because of he flucked an international cocaine test. He was however permanently kicked out of the Russian national team. Apparently, with Russia, all PED's are highly recommended, but cocaine is a definite no-no.

Didn't, in tennis, Evans lose a whole year because of cocaine?

Rios once called for agassi to take a pee test on the spot. Andre took off running looking for Jaden, claiming he was kidnapped

I still only give andre 3 gs's.

Some how his fitness level doubled by doing meth. He wasnt able to finish a five set match then all of a sudden the iron man at the age of 30 in what is reguarded the steriod era (hindsight)

I am an Aussie, and not proud to say they can be some of the most intolerant people on earth... no tolerance what so ever, think everything around them has to be perfect, and complain about every single minor thing. Tbh, I don’t really care or have time for Ríos. What’s most annoying is that people believe everything he has to say, as though he’s some prophet.

The link was to Marca, Spain's leading sports daily, paid hard-copy circulation of 400,000; in existence since 1938. Enough w the ethnocentrism.

I just read the original story in Marca, thinking it might be longer and more informative. It is the same short article. The English version is complete.

Lack of specifics by Rios hurts his claim. But, if true, the anecdote about Rios demanding an on-the-spot urine test of Agassi, and Andre running away is at least some support for these new accusations.
