I wonder why Roger didn’t say anything about it? I think he clearly knew that no merch is for sale for the fans. Maybe he didn’t have power to push Uniqlo to sell more?

Uniqlo has been very disappointing with providing any Federer gear for fans as compared to Nike. Was even a single Uniqlo Fed jacket for sale ever? Nike had at least issued a celebration tshirt for all his major milestones.

Well, I had a Fed shirt from the AO a year or two back; did not like it all ALL. ill-fitting cheap feel poly. But I will tell you, their crew neck sweatshirts and pants are without equal IMO.

Interesting. I’ve had a bunch of NOVAK’s and Kei’s versions from 2012 to 2016, wore them weekly, washed them weekly and most of it looked like new after 3-4 years. I loved their fit too.
i had a few of Federers outfits too but the fit was different.
Uniqlo has the best tennis socks out there. I am still wearing the black and blue hat from 2015/16…

Also agree.

Had some performance slacks that have looked great for 4+ years, I have a sweater that is 5+yr old and looks brand new. My Kei polo and Roger polo/tees are great as well. BUT I've not had good luck with their dress shirts or regular pique polos

I think it depends on item, but all the items I have have outperformed any ON/GAP item I have.

Agree on the polos. I'm 6 ft 180 with wide shoulders and the polos large or x large just fit poorly. For the Asian market sizing?

Have a full-time year round RF page on website. Shirts, caps, shorts, hoodies, bags, etc. Just guessing, but I think it would do well. Anything short of that is a fail. But we've been saying this now for four years.

Agree on the socks. Soft, never get blisters or pain from the seams, and comfortable.

Have not had any problems with their shorts or RF hats I bought. Worn the shorts for years. (not Kei or Novak shorts, just exercise shorts with pockets that I use for tennis). Their underwear are also very good.

Their sizing does seem to skew towards less stocky/large body types. I'm 6' 165 and most of their shirts and clothes fit fine for me.

When shopping in some other stores, oftentimes for me, when the shoulders part of the shirt fit for me, the waist part is too wide, but my waist is only about 31-32 inches, so I'm probably in the minority when it comes to waist sizes in the U.S., so I would expect the companies to make clothes fit for a larger segment. I usually look for their "athletic" line if the brand has something like that.

My problem with Uniqlo sizing- and the reason I own no Fed shirt- (besides the fact the 'replicas' feel cheap) is the length; I'm 5 11 but the shirt comes down just to my waist. Too short for me,

It was LE for French open. Sold out last year or the year before I think. I managed to get the reverse color way. It online only

Dunno about the sizing off the shelf polos here in the US stores, but yes similar issue, they seem to be too short after a wash or two. T he Japan exclusive polos ice imported that are sized from that market fit well but you have to buy up a size (JP L = US M)
