With my Pure Drive I use a Lux 4g co-poly. Soft on the arm and helps me produce some lovely lobs. Although the pure Drive tour is not know for touch the more I play with it the, more touch comes. So in close don't overlook the advantage of co-polys. At 71 I only started using poly's last year.

Hi all, I have gone through all this. 71.5 now hip replacement at 67 so, mobility sucks. Also a racquet junkie. I have a list of racquets that work. The Gamma 117 is one but, too underpowered. The 135 Weed is good. The Vortex Green 117? is another one. You might ask what I use now.....Babolat...

I will never get rid of my Pro 116 but, Playing with the pure drive! Couldn't stop loving the feel at contact! and OMG the power.

The more I play with the 29 inch model the more I like it. It's light weight and open string pattern are a joy. Anyone who feels these advantages are minor does not know what they are missing.

Further play tells me that, it's most striking feature is depth of ball. Added depth and extra topspin make it a winner. Anything you get for free in a racquet is special. Strung at 50lbs with NRG2. I ordered a used pro 116 that came with poly. Unfortunately it also came with a 27 inch length...

O.K. Got 20 mins on a wet Synthetic Grass court. Best part was depth with topspin. Outside sweet spot was dead. I didn't take too many slice backhands so, hard to judge. Serves were easy and a little extra spin but, nothing dramatic. I will be adding an a thick grip as they sent a 4/1/4 instead...

I think you mean Wonder Wand. I believe he bought them as a failed company and acquired the molds. He reengineered and changed the string pattern. Had great ideas and made some great frames. (Even had Wilson copy the idea) High Praise!

I also had the Battistone Natural. I worked hard with it but, too many disadvantages. I think string configurations , length and strings can be played with but, two handles is a fail IMHO

It will be upwards of 2 weeks as, I am in Australia and the racquet has just left LA. but, I will be happy to.

I have just ordered the 116 pro after not being to take the stiffness of the ES 116. Happy Days

I am 69 and, coming back from hip surgery. I think the RZR is pretty Amazing as well. A lot more + than-.

I used to order Pro Kennex racquets but, they came in as much as 15grms. over weight

I think it can provide improvement and, one of the only things you get for free. I just ordered a new Yonex. I believe they are putting gel in their racquets. I will say silicone is messy and permanent. Lead tape is better.
