IMO, Gamma Professional is MUCH softer than the multis you mentioned. It is the softest multi I have found out there (along with Prince Premier w/Softflex).

I don't think the BVs are "horrible" but do think they wear a little easier than the BIV's did. That being said, i have had nothing but good experiences in returning my Barricades to Adidas under the 6-month warranty / guarantee program and getting a brand new pair for the cost of shipping only!

From someone with elbow / shoulder problems when tryiing to use most polys, the benefit you mention above is the best part of Big Ace (though i do still string it 5-6 lbs lower than i would string a multi up)
