I'm sorry to report...after my last two matches, i'm giving up on the babolat storms. I demoed a Dunlop M-Fil 300 last night and after the match, bought two (on sale too). It plays alot like my old Dunlop Mcenroes but less stiff. When I was playing the Storms, i was always concious of the racquet at the end of my arm, with the dunlops, it felt like an extension of my hand. My game came back almost immediately, my forehand corrected itself, my backhand is in tact and my serves had an instant pop, first serves winners most of the time. This is with prestrung dunlop string and no mods at all. I'm sold. I still have the greatest respect for the babolat brand tho and will miss them. They are up on buy & sell now. good deal to a bab lover!

I'm thinking about giving the new Pure Storm Tour X a demo. I have been interested in the specs since I saw them, and the Pure Storms before then.
As much as I love the Yonex feel I miss the extended frames I use to hit with. I've talked about having a couple of RDS TOURS extended but the cost is just going to be too high, and I don't want to do one of those home made jobs to extend them.
If anyone has any comments regarding my situation (I'm a god, I'm an idiot, drunkard) please feel free to post them them.

As far as I know, Pure Storm Tour is the up-version of Pure Control, not Pure Storm Standards.
Yes, the TOURS are an update of the Pure Controls, but it is also an addition to the Pure Storm line.

I'm just fine-tuning setup of a Pure torm 07 (standard not the tour) and so just wondering if anyone can recommend or detail what their setup is... would be interested to hear of yours.

im currently using the old pure storm strung with babolat pro hurricane 17 at 55lbs. i only have one racket right now but will be buying a second one later this month.
I hit with a Pure Storm Tour Plus just days ago and loved it, I could use a little less wing weight however. If only I have the money to buy one...
Yo Guys. The Pure Storm Team is Quite an Interesting Racket.
I would say putting in a nice stiffer and spinnier string makes it nice.
The Racket really rips well, and my 2hbh was just solid all the way around.
I definetely believe you need a RubberBand #64 to really let the feel of the racket come out. I haven't tested with lead, and I rarely do.
I was wondering where I should put lead to maintain the same attributes and relative swingweight but throw in a bit more plow/stability.
Also. How doe the Pure Storm Team Compare with the Pure Storm 2007 Version?

I have 2 Pure Storm Tours. Great stick, nice weight and excellent combo of pop and control. I'm still waiting for the heavier Nadal signature Aeropro Drive.

I use the Pure Storm TEAM but i have made a heavy customization on it. 3,5 grams of lead on each side from 8 to 10 and 2 to 4 and then 10 gram´s of cotton and 30 grams of lead inside the handle.
BTW; How does the Pure Storm Tour play vs the PS TEAM? Anyone with info? It would be nice to use a more regular version and don´t need to do so much custom work on each racket. Besides, I feel that no matter how tight it pressure the cotton it seems the lead comes loose a tiny little bit after a couple of hours...

It is nice to see the PS club revived. I would like to take this opportunity to reassure the club of my continued commitment to babolat products, and also to alert the greater worldwide audience to the fact that my three babolat pure storms (among other personal belongings) are being held hostage inside a suitcase stored at a major hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Because of the unreasonable respective positions of hotel management and country’s department of justice, neither shipping nor pick-up in person can be safely arranged at present. Months have gone by while racquets are locked up inside a storage vault, with stringbeds losing tension and frames going out of fashion.
Other than that, it’s great to see new PS users sign up every day and continuing the great tradition. You all should post pics too, and also what ever happened to the Tfight club?

I haven't gotten one, but thinking about demoing one and seeing how it feels. I main two n95's, particularly stiff racquets, and give more of flat shot. Not afraid to use spin if needed though. I use racquets that are all about control, and I've heard very nice things about this stick. Particularly about the pop and control, especially on topspin. Being a 98 sq. inch head, it should be more forgiving?

Same specs, basically. The Pure Storm Tour is better looking imho, so maybe that's why I preferred it. The AeroStorm Tour has cortex, which is cool.
The PS Ltd is the finest stick ever, I think, but it's kind of a departure from the Babolat feel if you associate the company with widebodies -- Pure Drives and the like.

Hey... have used Pure Storm Team for EXACTLY one year now (Zylon version). Decided on it after a loooong trial time, where I tried everything there was to try. I love the racquets, bought two used ones, couldnt get my hands on new ones, and its too bad theyre not around anymore... havent convinced myself to buy the new version of the PS yet. Bought a PST, but for me it was a bit less maneuverable than the lighter PS Team. SIGN ME UP!

No lead in the head. Just added a Gamma sleeve to make the grip larger and put 12 grams at the top of the handle.
Strings: VS Gut mains at 55 and Hurricane Pro Tour 17 yellow on the crosses at 51.
Like buttah.
With the strings, the grip sleeve, a leather grip and an overgrip, the mass is 370 grams or 13.1 ounces.

Anybody want a few (just about new) Pure Storms (non tour)? I have three that I played with for about a month and went back to my old stick. Also have a couple Aero Storms (new 11 oz models) in virtually new condition.
I need to get rid of them so I will consider just about anything.

I Have pulled this Pure Storm Team out and leaded it up a little at 3-9 and I really am liking this racquet very much. Just wondering is this the same Storm that you guys are using? And if so how are others customizing this racquet.
