Now, here's another "which bag do I get" problem. I've got an opportunity to purchase either a very nice m-fil blue 6 bag or a dunlop int team 10 bag. Both have the thermal protection. The 6 bag is 10 bucks, the 10 bag is 15.

I only have 2 matched rackets (although I have 1-2 others I throw in my bag). I typically carry a pair of shoes, a change of clothes, 2 cans of balls, some overgrip and two bottles of water/drinks.

I currently use the TW 6 bag. I've had it for a good 9 months. It's a good bag with plenty of features, but it's basically dead now. Tears, rips, shoulder strap falling apart, etc. The 6 bag suits me fine- I have enough room for everything.

Which bag do I get? Is the 10 bag just overkill (btw, this 10 bag supposedly looks more like a 12 bag)?

I need to decide ASAP, as in the next 24 hours or so. Whichever bag gets more votes I'll buy.

joops i voted for the 10 bag, but i meant the 6-bag, you would need a ton of stuff to need a 10 bag

Vote currently stands at 3 to 2 in favor of the 6 bag. The people that voted for the 10 bag, can you please explain your choice?

Tennis balls
Towel
Change of clothes
Change of shoes
Flip flops for after the match
wristbands, hats, etc.
Sunscreen
Bottle or jug of water
Snacks

The amount of gear I carry depends on where I am playing. I never know when I'll need the extra room and I'd rather not have to carry an extra bag if I can avoid it. Furthermore, a relatively empty bag can be flattened out to avoid being bulky, and a 10 pack won't weigh much more than a 6 pack.

I'd take the 10 pack.

Hmm... You know guys, this really isn't helping much. There are too many pros for both the 6 and the 10. That and the fact that the poll is tied. *sighs in exasperation...*

dont stress over $10. you already said a 6 pack suits you fine (tw bag). unless you plan on carrying more things to the court, stick with the 6.

if you have like 4 or 5 racquets then go with a 10 pack, any less than 3 just use a 6 pack and it will be enough for shoes, clothing, food, water, and anything else.

I went for the 10 pack from Dunlop. I know at first it looks like over-kill, but its not. I have only two rackets, but I keep bottles of water, towel and clothes. at first it seems like WOW! its way better in the long run.

Hmm, maybe you should go with the ten. Who knows if you'll purchase more racquets in the future, and if you do, a 6-bag will start feeling very cramped up with 3-4 racquets, towels, clothes, shoes, etc. Plus, you can just flatten out the 10-bag if it's too big. With the 10-bag, you can hold everything comfortably,
and even though a Klippermate stringing machine in there. (Jokes)

Rather than just look into the racquet capacity, compare the actual dimensions and how the bags are configured. I found my Babolat 6 Pack to be a little cramped (carrying 5-6 racquets plus my other things) and went to a Tecnifibre 9 Pack. The 9 Pack is only larger by a couple of inches in any direction, but between that and the way it is designed, there is enough additional space for my needs without added bulk.

30l 14w 12h are the dimmensions for the 10 bag
30l 10w 12h are the dimmensions for the 6 bag...

This means that there's only a 4 inch difference between the two bags?!!!

How much of a difference is that?

HOLY!!! The TW 6 bag is only 7w?!!! Wow...

Good Call !!!! You won't regret it ! I know it will appear Big at first, but it holds a ton and for me thats important eg. balls, towels, and bottles of water, not to mention rackets. a sox-pack would probably work if you always go to club where theres water and other things, but this 10-pack lets always have everything.

^the only thing I'm worried about is stuffing it in my locker during tennis season... my locker's not very wide, so it may be a problem... Oh well.
