2 Handed Backhand Grips

Was just wondering which two handed backhand grips certain pros use and why. Such as safin and AA. I just recently became concious of my two handed backhand grip, and I'm sorta questioning it. I use a continental left hand an eastern forhand righthand. I recently saw in a article in tennis magazine that nalbandian used continental left hand and western right, then I just sorta held my racket in this position and I wondered if it would really be effective because it felt awkward. Any way just want some input on grips and see which ones u guys use. BTW I'm right handed

Popular 2-handed BH grip on the pro circuit is:

-- right hand in a continental grip position;

-- left hand in an Eastern FH or semi-western FH grip.

There are exceptions also. Michael Chang, for example, used two forehand grips: right hand FH, and left hand FH.

Coria is similar to Chang's.

Continental as you know is used for the serve, all volleys, and overhead smashes. Thus, continental (right hand) and forehand grip (left hand) has many benefits.
