Aesthetically there are people up there like Nalbandian and Nishikori, both of whom make VERY good use of angular momentum on their 2HBHs. The way they contort their body from the hip to hip rotation and the way they sometimes delay the contact till very late in the kinetic chain to disguise the shot and guide the ball down the line are uniquely aesthetic. With Nalbandian especially you often see that catapult/whip effect--his body has almost fully turned, but where is he going with the shot? The racquet is still lagging behind and Nalbandian elects to *delay the contact till the very last minute* to direct the ball down the line.

But although there are prettier 2HBHs out there there's no doubt they're still no match for the 1HBH. It is a fluid, flowing shot executed with such elegant brutality it almost serves as celebration of human athleticism. With the 2HBH it sometimes looks as if the person is guiding the ball using a board--but with the 1HBH even a down the line redirection looks like it was hit with maximum effort simply by virtue of the long levers in play.

Novak's backhand is as good a sight on a tennis court as any shot in any era.

And with respect to the 1 handers Stan's is up there as well.

Which one-handers and two-handers are you talking about?
