It's all Krueger. If he slips, falls, breaks at least one arm. Then toss up between Novikov and Redliki.

Otherwise this is a $17K payday for Krueger.

whoops! good luck to him on tour...this rubin kid looks like a winner with his results last year in 16s and this year in 18s, 11 singles wins and counting, and still another shot at the zoo next year

ps kozlov smacked paige in the consos - interesting...

Your unnecessarily pugnacious, snarky, and foul attitude strongly suggests otherwise.

Need a hug?

oh snap, we've got an english major on our hands

well you sir are solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short!

(number1coach has no idea what's going on right now on this board, he couldn't read 90% of the last two posts, let's stop talking above his head)

Don't get me wrong, I love it. In fact, I think we are all here just different manifestations of Brad's personality. Every thread ultimately revolves around him, and the whole shebang is just a crazy narrative unfolding in his head like St Elsewhere did in that little autistic kid's mind.
Carry on.

hahaha, one of my favorite TW posts i've ever read

Lol

I'm having such a great day today, just keeps getting better

Sorry to db - don't know the kid so he may be a total class act - but I can't do anything but root against the kid of a grown man that takes shots at basically anyone he loses to on this forum - hopefully db doesn't follow this rubbish - if he does he should probably tell his dad to shut it, stop embarrassing the family, and stop ruining his chances of usta wild cards by being so anti usta on here (if he were ever to be in the consideration for those wild cards someday down the road)

meh, you were the one who started the trash talk (at least in this thread). if people stop posting about his kid, then he wouldn't get so worked up about it. as another poster said in this thread, every thread does not need to become DB-centric but people still do it even when BB hasn't even posted yet. how bout we talk about the people still in the draw?

What makes this junior tournament really special is the volunteers,
hundreds who help out by manning the various tables, clothing, and concession stands.
And the behind the scenes folks who house the tournament officials too.

To me the what makes this event so special is a combination of all the support, the colunteers, the facility, the tournament staff, but first and foremost is the players. The level of tennis, and the players respect the players have for the tournament itself is special.

This is the premier SuperNat event in the U.S., and I am thankful for the opprotunity to officiate there.

this is how it was like 20-30 years ago.. I remember going to national tournaments and we all stayed at the ''housing'' .. people would open up their homes for us to stay in,and treated us so graciously ... and the fun really begins when we were knocked out of the tournament .. does any tournament have ''housing'' anymore??

I think housing was just for some refs....
But, I did hear an entertaining story about Connors at Kalamazoo.

Not the Juniors, some of the Futures do thought

Let's be clear, the STRONG majority of people here root for DB. I root for DB and ANY American that shows promise and has a dream, however; N1Cs post on the forum after DBs match against Redlicki was IMHO out of line.

No matter what happens on the court, it should stay there and not leak onto a forum with insulting remarks aimed at the other player and his parents. Not necessary. As a tennis parent, I can't condone that behavior - can you? Do you think Hannity would?

You can still pat N1C on the back and root for DB but, it doesn't mean everyone has to support his approach. There are others achieving similar results more quietly. I root for all of them including DB (except when they're playing my kid). ;)

Let me be clear when you come to a tournament that is open to the public and your behavior is what it is and if your parents have condoned it then in this country the freedom of speech act allows me to the liberty to post what I have witnessed with my own eyes ,
And all who have and opinion on me on these forums without meeting me or not not feel free to post all you like ,those that know me from and intelligent position those that don't from a college educated position ! Either way I enjoy all critiques ,kudos to all .

Thanks! Many of us even come from out of state just to be a part of the tournament in whatever way we can.

I'm not sure why the draw size is going down. I'll ask around and see if I can find out sime answers.

Freedom of Speech does allow that. But, it also allows others to call you an as$ho!e. people don't need to meet you to post about you. Nor do they need a college education. You throw it out...they throw it back.

Please don't teach your lil girl to judge people before she meets them and remember hear-say is laughed at in a court of law "not accepted" ! I welcome insults, people do have their opinions but before you meet someone or see them you could look real stupid saying "at best D-2 " then when it matters they have placed themselves right where you said couldn't happen "no D-1 school would pass on him".

Hows your girl ? how is she hitting? also the offer is always there for you any advice or direction i would be happy to give, remember the doubters and haters are my most cherished friends on here ,they supply the fuel to burn on the trail we are on and to that I thank you and truly feel I owe you !

BTW why weren't you at the clays ?

Does anyone know the to 16 year old that were playing the K-Zoo finals ? Why were they playing down ? I heard the one turns 17 next month not sure about the other , they were playing to get a spot in the Jr.Open i guess , are they not there ranking wise to get in already ?

These 2 have the size to play the 18's and their games were not that bad just curious to why?

i'm confident that guys like ramsey smith, brian boland, peter smith, manny diaz, etc have zero interest in getting involved with some crazy father of a kid that's not even that good - got a nice one game off some unseeded player in the consos before giving up, lol...then that guy got thrashed by a 14yo

if your player gets "injured" as much as he does playing occasional tournies, good luck holding up over the course of a college season

pros should be much easier on his body, since he can just play the first rd qualifying of a futures every week and get sent packing with a week to recover, so i agree that might be the best route

My understanding is that both Henrik Wiersholm and Alex Gozun are '96 - meaning 15. Gozun is huge, Wiersholm is smaller. They both have big games and could have played 18s.

I expect they play their "age" to get the WC to US Open Juniors. As the winner, Wiersholm automatically gets a WC and Gozun just may get one too.

Congrats to Wiersholm and a great tourney by Gozun.

Correction - Gozun is a '96 - 16 - and Wiersholm is a '97 - 15.

Ummm, you must have me confused with someone bro. Don't know you from Adam. Not trying to get to know you either. And I don't have a "lil girl" that you'd have seen play anywhere. I've never seen your kid play in person and thus I've never commented on him. I only know of your self promos that are....interesting.

When is the 18's final on ? somebody is taking a trophy and i can't tell who that is.

http://146.113.47.100/view/index.shtml

That was the 16's. Wieldhiem (?) won pretty handily in two sets. I don't remember the score. Right now the 18's are playing. They are both tied one set apiece. Novikov just now won the third set. It's interesting play. Novikov clearly is the better player when he's on and getting his first serve in. Novikov just has too much firepower such that Halebian can't do much offensively to trouble Novikov. However, once Novikov messes up or hits to slowly/carelessly then Halebian has been able to hit the ball just hard enoigh and well placed enough to win the point. My prediction is Novikov takes the fourth set 6-3 for the wildcard and win.

Novikov started well serving, slumped a little at 30-40 but came back strong and took the second game. Novikov 2-0. Halebian playing the third game pretty solid. Just lost the third game to Novikov. That firepower is just too much. This may very well be a 6-1 game, set, and match ein for Novikov

Halebian hitting some nice kick serves. Takes this game with a nice backhand that hit the baseline for an uncontested winner. 5-2.

who is this Novikov kid? which college will he play for ?

for the answer to this question, you could:

1) take 5 seconds to google his name
2) look two posts above where the school is named
3) stop playing dumb since you follow the conference he is in

cheers, feddie

UCLA has got a good player here. May still finish 2nd to USC and Stanford though.

According to the experts on here he should play college , you can't show up to a junior tourney and drop sets to guys half your size and power and expect to go pro !!

Do me a favor go through all my post and pull up just "1" self promotion ,use that college education of your and pull just "1" then when you can't ,cause there is none you will see why I laugh at the higher educated .
