2015 Wilson Blade 98 18x20 grommets

Hey TW, I saw online that the Blade 98 18x20 grommets are listed as being the same for the K Factor, and BLX models. Is this true? I'm asking only because on other websites, the 2015 model the grommets are listed separately from the previous versions.

Good question. I, too, thought that all the Blades were updated with parallel drilling patterns. As a result the older grommets no longer fit the current Blades. I could be wrong!

We apologize for the confusion with these blade grommets, I know they can be tricky. The grommet you are seeing, that is listed as the K Factor/Kblade/BLX Blade 98 (18x20) grommet, will not work for the 2015 blade due to parallel drilling.

The 2015 Blade 18x20 grommet, along with a few others, is not currently visible on our website due to an extended back order with Wilson. It should be available next week, though the numbers are limited.

Thank you for the reply. I predict that this will create a great deal of confusion because when ordering grommets, I normally do not care when the frame was made. Now I have to ask my client whether the frame is parallel drilled. I already confuse some of them when they send me a Pure Drive since Babolat changed the skips for the mains.
