Yeah, he never looks all that impressive, even when he’s playing well. A top-level attacking tennis should always beat him.

love the way he moves

his technique looks pretty awkward imo
- backhand is one of his nicer shots, but often it seems like he gets a bit too close to the ball, kinda stabs at it at times
- forehand looks different/weird/unorthodox, not in a particularly pleasing way

he moves smoothly, but the way he executes his shots aren't so smooth (fedr is a great example of smoothness)

For example, check out the serve. It doesn't really flow. He does move very well though especially considering his height.

People who think Medvedev does not have weapons are not seeing it. There are plenty. The biggest is between his ears. He's a machine who's close to peaking. I was predicting him to win USO. But it would be nice to see him win AO.

Novak was pretty vocal last year about just trying to peak for the slams. People asked him about his losses at IW and Miami for example (right after annhilating Nadal in the AO final) and he brushed it off by basically saying he didn't care much about those tournaments. In his own eloquent way.

Cinci maybe more important because it leads into the USO but he still isn't that invested in Masters these days. Probably the only way he can stay hungry and focused is by being selective about his targets.
