28" rkts: Chang Titanium/Graphite and Precision 730

Any comments comparing the midplus Chang graphite and titanium racquets as well as the Prince Precision 730, with regards to control, power level, and comfort would be greatly appreciated.

Any other control-oriented LB's that you would recommend?

Thanks.

I was going to ask the exact same question, so I'll just bump this one: how do these LB compare, especially in terms of comfort? I have a non titaniun chang and might get a 730. Stiffness at 69 worries me a bit.

based on the reviews when these racquets came out the Ti was not as good as the original...it ink TW even did a review of the TI in the 90s

other control oriented longbodies i have personally hit with that i'd add in there are

yonex rdti 70 long oversize. very very plush . dense 18x19 pattern isn't super friendly but it's solid and maneuverable. a great 2 handed backhand and flat hitting racquet with nice touch and a soft high 50's flex.

prince diablo tour xp 107. 28 length. the 10.6 oz strung weight is light for my liking but tailweighting fixed that. in stock form the lack of weight makes it good for huge swings without overhitting. strangely i prefery this one strung with just synthetic gut at higher tensions.

prince precision equipe longbody. my favorite longbody ever. like a mix between and older 6.1 95 in terms of control with the pure drive roddick-like power. i don't like openly praising this racquet because i want to find some more for my bag but it'd be a lie if i didn't say this to me was the best 28 racquet i've hit with. i prefer it over pog longbodys because of the great controllable power and the crisp feel. just an overall awesome stick. i have the precision longbody with the 14x18 pattern and i like it if i'm camped out way behind the baseline looping topspin shots but inside the baseline i find it's maneuverability is a big liability and i can't seem to serve well with it. which is unusual for me. maybe i haven't found the right string for it yet.

well wort looking for dunlop 200g xl's (27.5) for a highly customizable frame. the hyper pro staff 106 stretch is a nice baseline bashing stick as well. head liduidmetal instinct tour xl's are in my bag but haven't done much with them yet.

Chang Ti is more comfortable than Chang Graphite but is also heavier (both static and swing) and more difficult to maneuver.

I have a customer with 3 or 4 Prince Thunderstorm Longbodies 115 si. He has nightmares about loosing one of them but knows sooner or later they will self destruct. I can take a picture of them if you like he's bringing two over tomorrow. They're a dream to string great big grommet holes and a wide open pattern.
