Dr S refers to Ben S as a kid on laughing gas and Mark L as the failed lawyerThe first one had a subconcious negative theory of the big bad usa taking over a super natural bioenvire and ruining it.
Typical fluff for that time, wreck it ralph had a more logical storyline
As @NonP would say, sophmoric writing

Believe it or not I still haven't seen Avatar (still waiting for the inevitable rerelease so I can see it on the big screen), but I've read enough about it to know I wouldn't prefer it to Titanic and to consider the latter his best work. Guess the rerelease may be coming soon after all.
Why would anyone think titanic is a good movie, we know what happened. I guess your a mama who loves the drama.
We expect something fresh, just because leolardo de fattio stars in it doesnt mean its good (he gets paid alot). Such a fanboy for celebrity
I don't know why I keep bothering to humor you when you clearly have no interest in what I think.
Believe it or not i like you, to say i have no interest in what you speak is one of the only insults that can get to me.
not altogether surprising most of the crowd here didn't care for Avatar, it's more of a woman's movie, with the strongest heroic characters, Neytiri, the pilot Trudy, and Dr. Augustine (august!) being females (not to mention the nurturing Mother Nature), all of them set upon by violent males.
If you watch, do it in 3D cinema. Looking good in a pink dressAvatar 5
I actually liked Avatar. But that’s partly because I’m a tropical rainforest wildlife aficionado.not altogether surprising most of the crowd here didn't care for Avatar, it's more of a woman's movie, with the strongest heroic characters, Neytiri, the pilot Trudy, and Dr. Augustine (august!) being females (not to mention the nurturing Mother Nature), all of them set upon by violent males.
movies no one has asked for and we’ll get four of them
"Avatar" and "Avengers: Endgame" have both grossed 2.8 billion dollars worldwide, the most lucrative movies ever. To describe it and its sequels as "movies no one has asked for" sounds a little silly to me.
I dunno man... Avatar had it warts, but parts of it were pretty cool. And even aside from the dramatic stuff and Fx stuff, there are some seriously rewatchable classic scenes:I’m not talking about Avengers, only Avatar. That movie got huge amounts of hype in the time of its release because of the revolutionary 3D effects, but shortly after the hype has died down and no one really talks about that movie ever since. It made close to zero cultural impact based on observations from the last 10 years. No one is talking about it, there aren’t any memes about it, no one is really trying to keep the universe alive. Long story short, it’s not thanks to the story or the characters that it grossed so much money and that’s why there isn’t a high demand for the sequels.

But those first 1000 times didn’t have 12-foot-tall athletic blue humanoids controlled by sleeping soldiers, 6-legged hammerhead rhinos, and lush magnetically suspended paradise islands patrolled by vicious giant pterodactyls that can be tamed by grabbing onto their sexual appendages. It was the same rubbish story line we have heard a thousand times
Some argue that there are only seven basic stories that we tell, so everything at that level has been done a thousand times before.
It's all in the telling, presumably.
