4G crosses good for gut/poly hybrid

Does anyone use lux 4G for gut and poly hybrid? I have been using the pac classic 16L/co focus 1.18 for a while and while its super comfortable/spinny/powerful i sometimes wish i had a bit more control especially when serving.

I am using a wilson k95 6.1 with 18x20 and have been playing with the pac gut at 52 and the cofocus at 48.

How are the 4G crosses at mid 40s in a dense somewhat stiff racquet? I was thinking with the control of the 4G i can do 44-45 with the 4G and bring the gut down the 48-50 range to still keep some of the snapback but obviously the spin and power will come down some. Or maybe i can do 17 guage pac classic instead of the 16L

thoughts?

4G is good if you prefer the more "dead feel" from a cross.
It won't feel as powerful or comfortable as co focus 1.18 for sure.

Ehmmmm… You're making a huge jump from a soft poly to one of the stiffest polys in existence, I'd advise against it.

Some alternatives to consider that also will be more control oriented:

Kirschbaum Pro Line II
Solinco Outlast
Head Hawk

The thicker you go, the more control and durability you will get.
