Adding Leather Grip to PAT - Weight Changes

I would like to add a Babolat leather grip to my PAT for improved feel, but that will most likely change the balance/weight slightly. Currently, the racquet is 12.0oz strung with overgrip and dampener. Below are grip weight specs:

Babolat Syntec Grip (on there currently): 17 grams
Babolat Leather Grip (replacement): 25 grams

The difference of 8 grams would be .282 ounces, effectively taking the current racquet from 12.0oz to 12.28oz.

This additional weight on the handle side will also reduce swingweight (pretty sure...). Assuming the current racquet spec are factory, how much lead (and where) would I need to add in order to bump the swingweight to 340?

Factory racquet specs:
12.7in / 32.26cm / 6 pts HL
Swingweight:328

Thanks in advance.

The swing weight would not go up or change if you put a leather grip on. It would only increase if you added lead tape to the hoop

Ahh, ok that now makes sense. Using TW's swingweight calculator I was able to figure out how much lead I need to add to bump it to 340 swightweight. Thanks for the info.
