Adidas shoes and nike clothing? styling tips?

Hey guys, I'm normally a nike guy but as of late, my breathe frees are burning my feet off. im thinking my next pair of shoes might be the barricade 3s as I need some durability and a different fit. I have flat feet so im hoping those fit well.

now my dilema is that I wear only nike clothing when i play and im not sure how the 2 are gonna look together. I have a lot of red. basically the main outfits (whatever you wanna call em, ensembles, etc) are (all shirts are polos), red sphere polo (the one with the white stripe through it, like what the pros had on last year), white shorts, white nike bandana. then red polo (with the 2 black lines going down from the shoulders. its like andrei pavel wore on tour this year, and its the red version of what hewitt wore before the new line came out) with black shorts and a black nike bandana. lastly, i alternate with red and black shorts, yellow nike polo (its a darker tint than the zest to match my bandana) with yellow nike bandana (red swoosh).

so what color barricade 3s should i get (if i should get those with my feet)

Unless I'm being endorsed, I wear what makes me feel most comfortable playing tennis instead of being too concern about matching my tennis wardrobe. Infact, I even wear tank tops or not even a shirt when I play.

I'd probably go with the White and Black Barricade 3's. There is a hint of red but not too much.

If you really like Nike, I'd consider giving the VaporS2's a try, they have new white/silver/black pair coming out pretty soon.

the thing about the s2s is that im worried theyll be like the breathe frees. awkward fit for people with a certain foot style and not durable. im not lacking in the financial department or nothing, but i dont wanna buy a new pair of shoes every 2 months or whatever.

as for the poster who talked about what to wear. I wear it because it does make me comfortable but at the same time i want to maintain a certain sense of style which is why im asking for peoples opinions. As for tank tops and shirtless, no thanks, not only because im pretty badly out of shape (got some chub :>) but because i find that to be a sign of a lack of class (not an insult to you or anything, just an opinion).

keep them statements coming guys, thanks

No offense taken, but I guess if one has a belly, then it is understandable that wearing a shirt would be most appropriate. I live in a very warm climate, Southern California, and during hot/humid days, its most comfortable to wear tank tops/muscle shirts or no shirts for that matter to play a good game of tennis. All of my tennis mates are pretty much in shape, including me, so we have no problems with it. Sometimes we even meet tennis bunnies this way.

As I recall, Agassi was known to practice without a shirt on, and Coria was seen wearing muscle shirts to play tennis and among other players. I don't think they lack class.

Agassi has been seen doing it many times. Safin, Henman, and Kuerten have all done it. Almost all of the male pros have probably done it before.

time to change your wardrobe to ADIDAS!

if you don't want to do that, you could try going w/ the nike resolves. they have 6 month durability warranties. nike's never really been known for durability, but more for playability and comfort right out of the box (no break-in)

But, imo, Adidas is the way to go  Sure, you'll brand clash a bit during your transition phase, but you'll be thankful in the end!

Agree w/ kreative. If you want to stay all-Nike, go w/ the Resolves. They're a bit wider and much more durable than other Nikes. And have you seen the new black-and-grey version? Nice!

If you don't mind the "brand clash," I'd go w/ the black Barricade 3's with the red trim. Bad Ass!

It's funny -- there are guys who enjoy wearing brands like Nike (in that way, I'm EXACTLY like you, JB) and guys who prefer the tank-top-and-running-shorts look. Neither group really understands the other.

I just wish Adidas would stop making their clothes with that "loose fit" they have been marketing the past few years. I'm a small guy but I would love to wear Adidas clothes, but they are just too big on me to really wear. So I have to go with Nike. Plus most of my favorite players wear Nike anyway, although the ones that don't wear Adidas.

Do whatever you want really...

I don't really coordinate my stuff.

One day I may have on a Liquid Metal shirt, Nike Shorts and Breathe Frees with Reebock Socks, and a Surge X...or some other wacky combo

flat feet

Hey - how did your Barricades work out with your flat feet?
I am also a flat footer and when I tried them on in the shop recently did not feel like they would be too comfortable - but like the style and seemed like they wd have good ankle support.
