My feet are a little sluggish at times. I just played today after over a year of hardly any exercise at all. What are some good workouts to get me back into shape?

playing in the air without a racquet at home. Do it for a half hour a night. It should help co-ordinate your feet and improve and bring back skill.

just continue playing more, you'll get used to it.. and do some light running.. starting with some light cardio and gradually getting into the groove will help ya get back

From my experience... jogging. It really gets you back into shape fast and increase your indurance.

If you're constantly feeling tired and out of breath during/between points then tennis is no fun.

Start with 30min 3~4 times a day at a moderate speed should be enough for you.

haha I just experienced that half a year ago, just keep playing and force yourself to move your feet on court and it'll come back to you.

Stand on the baseline. Have someone stand opposite you at the net or on the service line on the other side of the net and fire a supermarket trolley full of low half-court balls in without telling you whether they are going forehand or backhand. That should get you moving. You may just need to get that sensation of constant motion back and this exercise should help.
