I remember it being called a "Tyger (or maybe Tiger) 630" or something like that. Someone had a picture of an original one, and it looked exactly like Blakes frame

mold

it is a custom mold provided by dunlop that most closely resembles the tyger frame.
they're not available hardly anywhere and nowhere in the states.
he weights it with lead tape at 3 and 9 and in the handle.

Do we have to see the same bloody damn questions asked every month here? Why don't you search the archives? It's there.

how is anyone supposed to know what their using if they paint their new ones in old colours. Could it be there is only one tennis raquet ever made ,just sprayed up different !!!

They all have either custom frames or old frames, painted to look like new models so that we buy them!

Any players racquet would be way too heavy for a normal club player!

I would not say that. I have my LM Prestige weighted at 13oz and would go higher but start to lose some head speed on serve. I have a friend with a paint shop and am going to get him to paint my Prestige green and make it look like the old green Yonex/yoniyoma sticks from the 70's. Now that was a cool racquet, except the weilds always broke on me.

LOL. "yoniyoma." That's nonsensical! The original company name was Yoneyama, as in the Japanese founder's surname. 'Yone' means rice and 'yama' means mountain.

Pro's racquets wouldn't be too heavy. My Classic 6.1 weighed up at 13.5 ounces for a while, and I could whack my western forehand hard, put lots of spin, hit volleys (too powerful though), and hit serves all day with that thing.

i'm talkin for club players and juniors who may buy the racquet cos their favourite pro "allegedly" uses it, too demanding for the club players and too heavy for the kids!
