Anyone still playing with their Estusa?

I own 2 Estusa Power Beams (not pro), and love them. I've tried the newer racquets and still love the feel of these. It just feels so forgiving. I don't think these newer racquests feel like these. My first real racquet was a jack Kramer staff (man I wish I didn't get rid of that), and a couple prostaff (85) But doesn't compare to my Estusas. My brothers Prince Synergy 26 DB feels pretty good too, but not compared to my racquet. just wondering if anyone was still paying theirs, or any oldies for that matter.

I'm actually trying to find / buy a new or nearly new one to try - always wanted to try one... Estusa's website actually has a shopping cart that lists both the PowerBeam and PowerBeam Pros but when you go to purchase it - it asks for a login. (i've emailed them today to ask about it). I don't know much about the frames but am curious to try. What do they play like?

One more question - what's the difference between the 'regular' and the Pro?

Years ago, I played my best tennis with my Estusa Aeromax EPT "Connors Signature Series". I would still use it if I could find new grommets for it. Alas. I believe the grommets are no longer produced. If anyone knows different, let me know.

I have an Estusa Power Beam (non Pro) racquet. I used to play with Estusa in my teens. I found a spare one in my mother's basement at Christmas and strung it up to play a match with in a tournament: 6-2 6-1. So these racquets still do if you know how to use them.

The Estusa website is still on the net but they don't sell anymore.

The difference between the regular version and the Pro is the stiffness. The Pro is triple braided and thus quite stiff (66 RA); the regular version has some fiberglass in it and is softer (62 RA).

If anyone is interested in purchasing one, I might sell mine. It is just sitting on top of my shelf and it is in quite a good state. Just shoot me a mail at bverplancke@hotmail.com.

I got an email back from Estusa - they no longer sell the PowerBeam or PowerBeam Pro - but they still have some PowerBeam Braided if anyone is interested. Just go to estusa[dot]com and email them to request it. From what I understand that's a stiff frame compared to the others ... but still not bad that you can get a new classic frame from them.

According to their site the Flex #'s are:
PowerBeam: 63
PowerBeam Pro: 65
PowerBeam Braided: 67

Do you know how much the frame costs shipped by any chance?

I don't have any other info than what I found on their site which is that the frame is 175 Euros and that according to their Terms & Conditions shipping is INCLUDED in the price of the frame.... here is the text:

"Terms of Delivery
All purchases include shipping cost. Delivery takes between 4 to12 working days depending on country and continent, after receival of payment. United Sports Benelux is not responsible for any delay in delivery."

Wow. The power beam is at 63. i thought it would be way more flexible than that because of the fiberglass. Mine really feels flexible. And the box cross section probably helps too.
