Anyone using Signum Pro Micronite in 2023/2024?

I tried Micronite 1.27 for the first time as a mains in a hybrid recently and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of feedback it gave relative to the other nylon (multi or syn gut) strings I have used. I know it was well reviewed over a decade ago, but are any of you TTW multi users still hitting with it? If so, what tension/gauge/racquet? If you used to use it, what did you switch to and why?

I don’t understand the part of nylon since as far as I know is the "Premium" multi from Signum Pro... I use it now as a silver poly cross with Alu Rough or Tour Bite and get 3 or 4 hours like my regular full bed of poly with the obvious added comfort and power of the hybrid.
Feel is great in my opinion and I still consider the Micronite one of the closest options to Nat gut still available in a multi without beign that expensive that play great in a hybrid or in a full bed for players with arm issues (My shop had a lot of this string stored) and now everyone with arm problems ask for it.
The string starts to fray after 2-2.5 hours and the playability stays similar until it breaks.
As far as feedback, they really softens the racquets so I don't use it in a softer kind of racquets and really give snapback even with the rough textured strings in the mains.
I don’t test a bunch of multis since I find relatively easy the Micronite and the performance is great overall.
Hope this helps

By "nylon", I was referring to multis or syn guts made of nylon, and not "tournament nylon" strings. I have modified the original post to make this clearer.

Going to try Micronite 1.32 mains with the slickest, low-power poly cross I've got -- probably Head Hawk 1.30 -- pretty soon in a '21 CX200. Will report back on how it plays. Would love if snapback was good, but judging by the string-to-string CoF ratings and other people's descriptions, I'm remaining cautiously skeptical. We'll see...

i hope it works out, though I think you are correct to temper your optimism. Based on my experience, the first 30 mins should be good either way!

I only tried Micronite in full bed and remember that it had a good feel but the string moved all over the place, kind of like a syn gut. I think with a smooth poly cross it could work well.

of the non-poly mains i have tested with poly crosses, it performed the worst in terms of friction after the outer layer got sawed through, but i only tested it with one poly cross, so it might have just been a compatibility issue.

That's why I'm focusing on trying to pair it with the absolute slickest cross possible, but also not just something that relies on silicone or wax infusion (RPM/Rough, G-Tour, YPT Fire, IsoSpeed wax-infused poly's, etc.), as those wear off after minimal usage. I'm hoping a higher-density crosslink ester, whose slickness is part of the core material, will be enough -- something in the realm of Hawk, Revolve, Co-Focus, Tour M8, Wasabi X, etc. And I'm going to string Micronite 3-5 lbs higher than the poly cross, to keep the mains as "snappy" as possible, with the poly cross more slack, to promote movement of the mains. That said, I have a feeling Micronite is just going to be too sticky to snapback on even the slickest of those, but one can hope. I'll report back once I've got a session or two under my belt.
