Anything like Tournagrip but last longer?

Hi,

Today, I tried the Wilson Pro overgrip. Decent grip but began to cause formation of blisters rather quickly. I am trying to figure out what I can use besides Tournagrip as I sweat a lot and Tournagrip seems to not last long enough.

Thanks,

Chris

I play with Prince Microtac. It can get kind of slick, so try putting it on inside-out. The 'normal inside' is kind of rough, and probably better suited for sweaty hands than the normal side.

White gets dirty, so try black.

Microtac is nice, but in a very different way than Tournagrip:

If you want something very similar to Tournagrip, but that lasts more and is better, in general, this is what you want:

with the wilson pro overgrip did you just not wrap it correctly ? cuz i love that grip, and i'm soon gonna have it over a nice wilson leather grip.

Just like rackets, different people prefer different things. I doubt it was his wrapping method.

I actually was a huge Pro overgrip fan for about 6 months. I had small blister problems and other painful things going on with my hand. I thought it was just me, but I finally tried Tournagrip again on the hottest day this year and I got hooked. Now I won't use anything else. The more I sweat and the longer I play, the better it seems to feel, and the grippier it seems to get.

I do hate the durability issue.

im in the same situation...blisters w/ wilson pro, not enough durability w/ tournagrip. some company needs to come up w/ an overgrip in between the two...not too tacky, but more durable.

prince "no sweat" is not tournagrip or even close...nothing is like tournagrip and what makes tournagrip soo good also makes it poor in the lasting long dept....

I've used Tournagrip for years and years, just recently switched. I tried a racket with Babolat VS Grip (original overgrip) on it, and loved it. Bought a bunch and really like it.

i just quit worrying about the durability and change it before every match, it is my prematch ritual now. i tried switching og and the feel goes away.

The wilson pro over grips did the same thing to me, with the blisters, but after they healed once i haven't had anymore problems
