I played against my 81 year old father while on vacation and after the first game or so realized that he's finally gotton old - well, old enough that running him would be really unfair (besides which, I'm pretty sure he'd risk a heart attack to get the ball !) So we played his game, lots of slice, lots of side spin, lots of points with both at net. When we finished, a guy who had be watching us came over and asked if we were related 'cause he said "you really played mean shots to each other "

(I just wish I'd been on the ball enough to say my dad was my husband - bet he would have looked to see if there was a Jaguar in the parking lot !)

You could try playing him with your offhand too, but he might be too good still for that. Nice you didn't try to give your dad a heartattack, probably since he doesn't drive a Jaguar.
