Asics Gel Resolutions(Fitting?)

I read on these forums that these are really good. Can anyone tell me how they fit compared to say, the barricade 4s, and 5s?

I wear a size 10.5 in the barricades, and I was wondering if I'd have to size up for the Gel Resolutions.

Also, do they come in another colourway besides the ones on TW?

Thanks in advance.

The Gel Resolutions are very narrow in the toe box and especially the mid-foot compared to my Barricade V's. I wanted them to work but had to return them. Don't know if their narrowness will be an issue for you -- they are a very nice shoe. I instead went with Yonex SHT306's and am very happy -- still a glove-like fit, but not squeezing my feet in. No heel slippage. Love these.

I am 10.0 -- I like both but they are different. The V's are a bit roomier with decent support. The 306's have a glove-like fit and have even more lateral support -- my preferred match day shoe. A shoe equivalent of a sports car, with a comfortably snug fit (but cushioned inside) feel. Both have nice traction. But again, edge goes to the 306's. If you need extra room in the toe box and mid foot, the V's are better. The 306's are more snug in a 10.0 than the V's. I wear the 306's with thin socks (Feetures) since they have great padding everywhere, including on top of the toes; if you wear more cushioned or two pairs of socks you might want to go a half size larger. You cannot go wrong with either -- the gel Resolution were great on my inspection but, sadly, did not fit me at all. Lastly, I am wearing the Air Zoom Cross Trainers as my main practice shoes now -- these are very roomy in the toe and have great cushioning.

If your feet aren't too wide then try the Asics. You can always return them to TW after trying them on. The price is better than the Yonex and Adidas shoes.
