Shoe with Asics cushioning and Barricade stability?

I used to wear the Barricade IV's and now I'm using the Asics Gel Resolutions. Overall, I'm really happy with the Resolutions, but I've noticed they're not quite as as stable as the Barricades were. I've always had a tendency to roll my right ankle and I really don't want to do it again. After my current Resolutions wear out, I'd like to find something with a good combination of stability and cushioning. Any candidates?

The Barricade V has great stability and cushioning, significantly better than the Barricade IV. Like you, I switched away from the Barricade IV in order to find better cushioning. I wore several pairs of Nike Breathe Free II, Cage I, Yonex 304 – all with better cushioning than the Barricade IV.

But then I returned to the Adidas Barricade series for the stability – precisely as you mentioned that is what you are looking for. I found the Barricade V to be a great improvement in cushioning over the IV – and of course Barricades of all generations are known to be among the most stable tennis shoes ever made.

Bottom line: If you liked the Barricade IV for stability, you might absolutely love the Barricade V for both stability and cushioning.

team all court 4s are good in my oppinion

I thought this as well when I got my feet into the TAC IV's. The heel VibraKill Tech was very similar in feel tot eh Gel Tech that ASics has, but more responsive IMO. Propulse II's are good I think, with the straps, they are light and supportive/stable.

Prince OC-1's have a nice balance of added cushioning and good stability. Prince is very underrated when it comes to shoes IMO.
