Babolat grip size?

In early 2000s, I remember babolat's grip size used to run larger than other companies'.

Is this still the case?

Thanks,

I found the Grip Size to be larger on the Pure Drive and AeroPro Drive (about a half to one size bigger) and then I found the grip size on the Pure Control to match the standard sizes. I fitted the Babolat Skin Feel replacement grip (really thin grip) on the Pure Drive and AeroPro Drive and this reduced the grip size and bought it inline with what I am used to.

In my experience

Prince<Head<Wilson<Babolat

Haven't used other brands.

I can't say that the difference is enough to justify going down a size and I made that mistake once. It is really more a question of the base grip.

I find the aeros to be about a half size larger than head rackets.

I used a 3/8 grip when I used the Volkl Organix V1. Since switching to the Aeropro Team, I went to a 1/4 and it seems about the same as the Volkl 3/8.

I use 3/8 in Prince, and 1/4 in Wilson, Babolat and the square shaped Head. You can play around a bit with how tight you wrap your base grip and overgrip, even if you wanna use the same on each.

My Babolat APD+ racquets 2013 edition are 4-1/4" but the demo I just tried of the Pure Aero+ is 4-3/8" and is not noticeably bigger that my 1/4" and I find that surprising because, in the past, a 3/8" from Babolat was too big for me and my 1/4" APD+ are perfect. Has anyone noticed that the grip sizes are no longer running larger from Babolat?

It could be that the bigger demo grip was compressed from frequent use and may have needed replacement. If you don't habitually grip the handle too tight, this could also be adding longevity to your the grip on your racquet.
