Babolat Pro Hurricane and Luxilon Alu-Power

Wow, I played with a hybrid of Babolat Pro Hurricane mains and Alu-power crosses, and all i can say is WOW. This combo offers so much power,control, Finesse, oh yeah, did i mesion power??? A very powerful combo that felt like butter. Does anyone have something to add?

I just strung my PDR with Pro Hurricane Tour alone. I was gonna do a hybrid with ALU power but got lazy. I can't imagine how the PHCT plays with ALU.

Hey did you use the Hurrciance Tour or the old Hurricane?

just wondering why you guys hybrid a poly with another poly? this isn't the traditional way to hybrid. i'm not criticizing it just wondering what you guys feel the benefits are? i've never thought to try it and i may give it a try.

what tension did you do it at? Also if you put a multi in it owuld be alot more powerful

I've seen more and more poly/poly hybrids. It's pretty common to see this particular hybrid even though I haven't played with it yet. It makes sense though, the ALU-Power will give you some good bite and power while the hurricane will give you that softer "buttery" feel (compared to other polys).

i dont get it either...why would you hybrid a poly with another poly...seems to me if you like a certain kind of poly you would just do up a full job of that....

I agree with the power of the Pro Hurricane. I had a full set and my serve had so much pop but the strings felt dead after about a month. I never considered a Pro Hurricane/Luxilon hybrid.
