Babolat Pure Control 1st Gen = Pure Storm Limited ???

Mould wise... is the Pure Storm Limited the same as Pure Control 1st Generation/Soft Control 1st Gen. ???

I wonder if the grommets for the PSL would fit...

P.S.: Don't know for sure but I seem to remember that our guru vsbabolat made a speculation about these moulds' similarities... BUT DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS!

As I recall the first Pure Control was from the same Donnay mold that was used for the TW Donnay 95". I cannot recall the name of the racquet.

Pro one, first pure control had an open tring pattern too.

The old Soft Control (same mould as Pure Control) has an 18x20 string pattern.

Well what Dave means is that the very first Control had a open string pattern (16x18 ), a little later they have switched the 1 ste generation to a 18x20.
But to answer your question, the limited doesnt play like the PC 1

Sorry to bring this old thread back up, but can anyone give a comparison of the 1st gen pure control (18x20 one) and the original pure storm ltd? Also, would grommets for the ltd fit the control because grommet replacing will need to happen.

Also if a racquet has 76 grommet holes (and 76/2=38, and 20+18=38) then is it an 18x20?
