Badminton Stringing?

So my school-highschool- has a bunch of badminton rackets for pe . I've been working a deal to get to string them at ten dollars a racket. cheap I know, but they have like 20 they need strung... All sounds good right, but I went for tw's gamma drop weight cheapie over klippermate's, and the klipper has the badminton attachment kit for the tennis racket stringer. The question I have is:

Q's:
1) Can you use the klipper's badminton attachment on a gamma
2) Does gamma have an attachment for badminton I can use

Thanks in advance for all the replies.

What attachements are you talking about?

As far as I can tell the difference between the tennis set and badminton set are the flying clamps.

I've seen badminton adapters for the gamma, but for the 6 point mounts.

You're just going to need smaller clamps. You're also going to earn that many because the weaving of many of these racquets is a pain w/ their 22x22 patterns. It won't be the main strings that'll give you trouble. It's the crosses!

I do them on an old P200 two point mount pneumatic stringer w/ super old technology. However, I have the smallest clamps the machine came with which were intended for badminton and I still consider buying the yonex floating clamps for badminton and I've only strung 6-10 badminton racquets.

I use my 6004 2-point, but it's a PITA like dak said. The lowest my Wise will go is 24 lbs. I usually send any badminton cleints to the local badminton club. They have a Yonex ES5Pro, and charge $8 labor, compared to my $10, which is not enough.

The best cheap machine better suited would be an older Ektelon, IMHO.

22x22 what the :twisted::twisted::twisted: . Stringing a badminton racket isn't too much different from a tennis racket, is it? Do all badminton rackets have that string pattern, because come to think about it open verse closed doesn't really matter without the spin verse control issue.
You said I only need the clamps, the badminton adapters aren't nessasary?

I don't know if the adapter pads will fit. It depends if the posts are big enough. You might to check badmintoncentral.com.

The fly clamps in the kit look like Yonex clamps.

Badminton patterns are pretty much the same pattern with a few exceptions. I find it easier to pre-string the racket before mounting and tensioning. Also the last mains fan, though it looks weird, its suppose to look like that, and bottom up crosses is normal.

Since they are school rackets, you can tension them by hand, like in the Racket Town video.

I use the Gamma Badminton Fly clamps that came with my machine. I hear the Yonex clamps are better.

Since you are restringing school rackets, you might want to buy badminton tubing for bad grommets, and a reel or two of nylon badminton string.
