Ball fuzz sticking

Does string type and tension effect how much fuzz sticks?
I notice with polyon ice at like 40# I'd get no fuzz. But with Wilson extreme synthetic gut at 62#, I notice a Lot of fuzz?

Is it the strings, or am I just hitting like a truck with these? :p

I've only found that the fuzz sticks on syn guts and nylons. I havn't really used multi's so I can't say anything about them, but with polys no fuzz sticks at all.

That's because poly strings are solid and have nothing that can grip onto the fuzz. SG and Multi's have a surface made up of multiple fibers that can separate and grip onto the fuzz from the balls.

I've noticed on softer stings that if the gripper or a clamp slightly abrades the surface the fuzz has a tendancy to adhere to the abraded area....
