Barricade II warranty: how bad do your soles have to be?

How bad do the soles of your shoes have to be for Adidas to send you a new pair under the 6-month warranty deal with the Barricade IIs. I bought my current pair before the new year so they're covered, but I've never sent in shoes before. Is it excessive wear on the soles, a hole through the soles, what?

i think you had to wear through the midsole so that it revealed the uppers, meaning you have to wear out the outer rubber, AND that soft white foam to the point where you can see some fabric.

nope. my friend sent his in with only the midsole showing and he got one back.
