Barricade 4 owners : questions about sole warranty and new colorways

I've had my Barricade 4's since January and I love them, but the bottoms are starting to wear out. Unfortunately, I've heard that you have to literally wear the soles to all the way through to the next layer to claim on the 6-month warranty, and I've got tournaments coming up in the spring so I have to get a new pair soon.

First of all : Can anyone confirm that this is true about the warranty, that the soles have to be worn all the way through to get a free pair?

Second of all : Does anyone have any experience wearing the black ones in warmer temperatures? I'm wondering if they'd be too hot for late spring and summer in Southern Cali, which can get up to the high 90's.

Third of all : Does anyone know of any new colorways or release dates on the horizon?

Fourth : How long have others' Barricade 4's soles lasted until you felt like they had to be replaced?

3) None that I personally heard of, but I'm sure there will be.. patience and google can help you there
4) To be honest, I have sent back a few pairs because that was my job at the pro shop I worked at previously (we did it for those lazy but loyal customers, not everyone) and soles were worn by these kids in like 3-4 months. I've had my B3s for like a year... sent them in and were replaced... but this is my case.. so it may or may not work for you....

BTW, haven't had B4s long enough to wear them out yet... but I have dealt with them already (warranty wise anyway).

so how worn out does the sole have to be to earn a replacement?

They have to be worn through to the insole. Doesn't matter how big the hole is, make a hole with play and then start tearing it with your fingers and send it back. Texas is hitting 98 degrees day to day now and I'm doing okay, bring a change of socks.

Two months is the magic number.

you have to wear through the insole. I just wait till I can't see my toes a bit.
