Besides Djokovic, which players incorporate Yoga and Meditation into their training?

How many top players do yoga or meditate regularly? I know that yoga is a part of Djokovic's daily routine. I think I once saw Raonic meditating during a changeover.

Have meditation and yoga become standard features of a tennis training regime?

High performance program I'm in has yoga intergrated into their program. So it definitely has influenced youth training.

Not sure about meditation, but I've seen lots of players mention doing yoga. I would think a good % of pro athletes are doing yoga these days, helps you in every way.

Here is something short and sweet on Nole doing yoga.

Lets face it, something big changed in the guy quite a few years ago. He went from a bit of a brat with injury problems to like a peaceful yogi. And his movement went up sensationally. His stretching around the court unparalled, I have never seen anything like it on a tennis court.

He reminds me of those guys in Oceans eleven series having to avoid tripping like 20 security lasers in a bank vault.

"Let's keep claiming he's something he's not, until people stop arguing." (ie Novak is agressive, he plays all court tennis, he is popular, he is well behaved on court etc)

I should stop coming on TTW so much, I'm becoming jaded.

Leander Paes mentioned he does an hour of yoga every morning. Favorite is the Cobra pose.

I am a full time yogi instructor. Even though I am happy where I currently work, I would happily join the tour full time with one of the players I like if they wanted a full time yogi to help them with their fitness and training. As long as the agreement was I got to spend all the time they weren't at tournaments at home with my family.

Yogi is great for every aspect of yourself. Relaxation, state of mind, flexability, fitness, strength, balance, positivity, energy storage, visualization techniques, patience and self awareness building. It is just amazing in every aspect which is why I love it so much, and tennis pros like all should incorporate it into their training and preparations, and daily workouts.

Serena Williams practices yoga. Overall, yoga is great for the body, it helps keeps joints lubricated and elastic which prevents serious injuries.

If only Rafa did this practice when he was younger.

Tennis match is nothing but little war between you and best in the world. Almost as gladiator fight which repeats on regular basis. It's physical, mental, it asks for adaptation and intelligence. After every of those wars they get some scars and bruises, but Eastern philosophy can help with that - fixing their body and mind which are in turmoil.

Everybody should practice a Yoga pose called the guacamole pose, also known as whac-a-mole pose. It helps to release tension and calm the nerves.
