TW guarantees their "used" racquets ... you have 30days to return for full refund, and they pay the shipping costs .... plus whenever I've purchased one it has been in better condition than rated. .... you can't go wrong and as stated above many of the "new" sale racquets are close to your price range.
Make sure you research the seller and see that they are frequent "bay" users with a good rating. If so any potential "scam" is diminished since a grievance against them can be filed and a bad rating will hurt them, so they will work with you.
In purchasing and in selling 12 plus quality racquets on "bay" I've only had one bad experience, and the seller resolved it immediately (wrong grip size).
The fact is we are enthusiast, and a lot of the sellers on the auction sites have no idea the value of what they have. They are simply doing spring cleaning, or moving, etc, and they come across a tennis racquet in the basement or garage that there daughter/son, husband, grandpa, whatever used to play with and they dump it.
My best snags so far are K factor 6.1 95 (not fake, I had new ones to compare to and they are as identical as Wilson can be) for $32 shipped (auction ended at 2am eastern time, so was just luck), and a $7.00 immaculate Head Graphite Pro.
