Best Grass Courts in Palm Springs???

So, it seems that I will be going to Palm Springs this weekend, and I understand that a few places might still have grass courts down there.

Sadly, La Quinta in Palm Desert has discontinued their grass courts. I heard they were the best.

What place or places has the best grass courts now and would be open to a non-member or visitor, such as myself?

Seems I may just accomplish my mission of playing on grass, but I am sure I will want to play again, so feel free to check out my other post on the question of "grass courts" and provide feedback there, as well, if you know specifics.

Thanks in advance, as always.

yea i agree i go to the mariott every thanksgiving with my family. i usually sneak onto the grass courts cause they're pretty expensive, but a lot of fun to play on. all the facilities there are top notch.

Mission Hills it is

I must thank DNShade for his recommendation and thank the wonderful people at Mission Hills Country Club for allowing me to play there on their incredible grass courts.

It was worth every penny of the price and every minute of the effort to play on that surface. What a great experience. It seems these grass courts are going the way of the white rhinocerous, all the more reason to enjoy the experience of one.

My pleasure. I'm really happy it worked out for you and Mission Hills is great. Glad you had fun. I love grass tennis and play on it every chance I can. It really is a different game, but I love it. I encourage anyone that has a chance, to try it out. Perhaps if there is more of a demand we will find more grass courts being built and maintained.
